BIG NEWS! Today, CircusWest Performance circus artist and student (and Ringmaster Coach) Stefan learned he was accepted into the professional prepatory program at the National Circus School. This school is a four year post secondary program in Montreal with the focus to produce professional circus artists and technicians. Here, Stefan poses with Coaches Yuki and Sylvain to helped him achieve this momentous achievement. Stefan started CircusWest at age five and is currently North America’s 2024 International Juggling Association Junior World Champion. Next up, Stefan plays the antagonist, Athos, in our May 28 -31 show TREE OF LIFE CIRCUS at the PNE Gardens. Tickets at https://www.ticketleader.ca/events/detail/circuswest We are all so proud of Stefan for his acceptance to this prestigious circus school. He now joins a handful of CircusWest alumni that have gone to the ENC and continued onto careers in professional circus. Bravo! Dream BIG with CircusWest! by @circus_west
One day….. age 7 vs 28! 🎪 performing with @circus_west in Cirkids Olympia in 2004 vs @thehookac in 2025! Little archival throwback my mom just uncovered from my time at @circus_west as a wee little kid! I’m forever grateful to this non-profit organization for not only inspiring me to do circus in the first place (thanks to seeing one of their year end shows at 4 years old with my parents), but also teaching me such a wide variety of skills through their “Cirkids” program that I still use to this day. :) Though perhaps that straddle back balance on tissu is best left in the past! 😝 Thanks to my coaches from that era for teaching me how to unicycle, trampoline, juggle, flail around on the silks, be silly…. And most importantly, present! Thank you @circusbrian1 @aerialsido @chrismyrdock @jaynunns (and many more) for showing me the value of circus and creativity! . . . #oneday #glowup #thehookac #circuswest #followyourdream #circusartist #thenandnow #circuseverydamnday #aerialhoop #dontgiveup #aerialhooptricks #aerialist #vancouver #atlanticcity #20yearslater #stillatit #splitsforclaps by @circus_west

Grace O’Malley was such an honor to represent at @levity.arts Her-Story show! 🏴‍☠️💖 . I am so beyond grateful that I got to be part of such an amazing cast of empowering, passionate women. Katie, you literally made a core memory for me. Thank you so much for taking me under your wing and taking care of me in the way that you did! I absolutely adore you, and I’ll always remember this trip and show forever. This is absolutely my favourite show hands down that I’ve gotten to be part of so far! . #aerialpole #circuseverydamnday #circus #flyingpole #circuslife by @circus_west
I forgot to capture the poll results but the majority voted Circus here! So let's start. Artist: @raincitycircus Location @thecircuslab From: @circus_west I've been blessed to work with circus performers of all skill and ages. Performers who have gone on to amazing things, like Cirque du Soleil. I count myself as very fortunate to be included over the years and to see these artists grow and get better year after year. Shot with love. @canoncanada @sigmacanada by @circus_west
