$\\ how citta collective came to life. I reckon when you had a dream in your head for that long that you don't even remember when or what started it, then it's a dream that is more a hidden expression of you, it is a deep desire and a calling. In 2022 I made one of my biggest dreams come true by starting to develop my own brand with the vision to host much more than conventional retreats, but actually redefining what they are and the impact they can have on someone's life. In 2023 I launched @citta___collective. What kept pointing me into this direction was all the years working in physiotherapy, teaching group classes and creating events, but mostly it was the Personal Training and working on an even closer level with my clients during the pandemic, seeing the daily struggles of how hard it is to change habits of comfort, to move from the passenger seat into the driver seat of your life, when you don't have the tools and don't know where to start. Suddenly the connection and solution was so clear right in front of my eyes. What if I help people step out of their usual environment and routines. What if I create the time and space - to search, to feel and find. What if I take people on a journey of exploration, experience and education. Could this help someone to get closer to who they wish to become? I felt I had answers, tools and experience from working in the realms of health, fitness and wellness that I wanted to share. Combined with my passion for travelling, interior design, architecture, nature and art I envisioned this space where everything would come together. But where should I begin and do I have what it takes? It took a redundancy, feeling unsure and lost, and going on a life changing retreat myself that gave me the courage to finally go for it. I knew, even if it ‘fails’, I will learn, I will grow, I will pivot and I know I will have done my best with what I could at the time. 3 years, 3 big retreats, 5 day retreats, many community classes, many deep conversations, many incredible moments, laughters, hugs, short nights, some tears and many full hearts later, plus many events and dreams on the horizon, make me proud that I started. by @citta___collective$

$\\ bookings for REALIGN close Wed 15 April – final spots for $200 off (per person for solo and double rooms) Resting within the lush rolling hills of the Northern NSW hinterland, this four-day retreat carries us to a place where everything around and within begins to slow. 14 — 17 may 2026 | @hillside.carool northern rivers NSW hosted by @elainekoeber with @harvestandheal_ & @your.mate.benny If you have been observing, dreaming, thinking – this is your final invitation. by @citta___collective$

$\\ Every retreat I’ve hosted, people almost didn’t come. It's surprising how often guests have told or emailed me that they had so many genuine and very understandable reasons why joining wouldn't be a good idea. ... too busy ... too much money ... not the right time ... can't indulge right now And every single one of them that came said also: “I wish I had done this sooner.” Not because everything changed overnight, but because something important shifted. More space was created. A slower pace was experienced. The internal and external noise softened. Presence was rediscovered. Clarity returned. Most of the time the louder this voice is (beside being drawn to the experience), the more curious we should get about the why. REALIGN is not about escaping life, the news and the world. It’s about meeting it differently. 3 rooms left. Bookings close Wednesday midnight. by @citta___collective$

$\\ quiet mornings that set the tone. Early mornings in the hinterland have a very particular feeling. The rolling hills slowly light up with the first sunrays, the golden ocean shimmering on the horizon, the air is crisp but soft, and it’s quiet - there is just the sound of birds, trees in the wind and the sense of a new day beginning. This first part of the day is often the moment where guests really start to arrive on a retreat. And it becomes something many like the most: The quiet and simple morning rituals we start the day with - guided meditation and gentle check-ins to tune into your energetic, physical, mental and emotional landscape. Learning how to read them, rather than jumping straight into reactive mode. We leave phones switched off in the rooms, the chatter for breakfast and the to-do lists for after the retreat. This is where you learn to meet yourself first before everything and everyone else. It’s a small shift, but one that many take home - a more grounded, aware way of starting the day. And so so powerful... by @citta___collective$

$\\ retreat feels in a series. As we shift internally, the external world will respond. Energy moves in quiet ways. And often, the biggest changes begin not with action - but with awareness. When we start to notice, when we invite consciousness over autopilot, when we become present - we open new doors. From here it's easier to choose a shift of our inner landscape - our thoughts, our language, our beliefs. Our outer world meets us with different rhythms. New opportunities, new reflections, new ways of being. Trust the process. . . . . . beautiful @ceverinegirard captured by @_nossocial by @citta___collective$

$\\ did you know that REALIGN was born because way over 5 years ago I couldn't find a retreat that connected Pilates, meditation and learnings from nutrition, all hosted at a stunning private sanctuary? Back then offerings were flooded with yoga and meditation retreats, luxe body treatment retreats or big groups stays with bunk beds. I wanted to bring creations to life that weren't just getaways to kick back, relax and get pampered. But a getaway that has all of this and also create a lasting change, expand our horizon, shift our perspectives, ripple into our everyday life. REALIGN is still exactly about this. Now that we return for the third time, after having hosted other retreats and day retreats, this particular curation is more evolved and aligned than ever before. Listening to guests, understanding what people need and adjusting to the challenges of our current lives - this is an experience that picks us up exactly as we arrive and makes us leave differently... by @citta___collective$

$\\ the flow. We have been taught to move for outcomes. To improve, to achieve, to measure. But what if movement could sometimes be something else? Maybe a way to regulate, to release, to reconnect. A space where you don’t have to perform, only feel. Where strength isn’t separate from softness, and slowing down isn’t falling behind. This is the kind of movement I come back to between guided pilates and yoga, programmed strength and conditioning training. It's a way of movement that feels like a dance, yet it releases, strengthens, opens up, aligns. I love to weave it into my Pilates classes, because it's the one that gives more than it takes. When have you explored movement last to listen to your intuition? by @citta___collective$

$\\ when we think of escaping into hinterland, we imagine expansive green hills and valleys, the ocean in shimmering distance, an abundance of fresh air, the sunrise bathing expansive farmlands into a golden light and cosy fireplaces to wind down on... Sounds like the most tranquil space to spend a long weekend at? The place we are going to call home for our May retreat @hillside.carool has all of this on offer. As a former winery, now private sanctuary, it's set on a hill and yet tucked away in the Northern Rivers Hinterland in NSW. It’s the venue’s elevated position, the expansion from a curated garden, pool, sauna and spa into rolling meadows and boasting rows of grape vines, that create a feeling of space — perfect to spend slow retreat days at. With a dedicated attention to detail, the owners created a homestead that invites to get cosy, to connect and to wander at the same time. All solo and double rooms have been newly renovated and received thoughtfully designed ensuites since we retreated here last — creating a private sanctuary to rest, reset, and reconnect in. Needless to say we are excited to move in soon with everyone who is joining us this year... by @citta___collective$

$\\ citta collective is turning 3 this month and something exciting is coming. revealing more this week, until then discover some hints in the slides... I can't wait to celebrate this together with you! Xx elaine by @citta___collective$

$\\ what if four days could change how you move through the rest of your year? Not by escaping your life — but by returning to it differently. REALIGN is for those who feel the need for space. Away from decisions, schedule, commitments — an opportunity to breathe deeper and reset the inner rhythm. To slow down. To clear the noise. To reconnect with yourself beneath it all. Because when that happens, things begin to shift — in how we think, feel, move forward and how much we can give to ourselves and our loved ones. This isn’t just time away. It’s where we plant the seed. REALIGN retreat 14 — 17 may | northern rivers If you feel the pull, follow it. Limited solo and double rooms left. by @citta___collective$

$\\ moments and memories of march. Modern life keeps many of us in a constant state of stimulation, decision making and pressure. citta collective retreats are thoughtfully designed to regulate the nervous system, create space for reflection, and reconnect you with the rhythms that support wellbeing. Through intentional movement, nourishing food, guided practices and meaningful conversations, these experiences ripple into everyday life — creating changes that last long after the retreat ends. . . . . .
