A Great Community Turnout for Yesterday’s Coffee with a Cop at 7-Eleven! It was great to see so many of our Desert Hot Springs residents stop by to enjoy some coffee, say hello, and spend time getting to know our Chief of Police and officers. From friendly conversations to questions and shared experiences, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect outside of the usual day-to-day interactions. A big thank you to 7-Eleven for welcoming our community and generously providing free coffee, donuts, tickets, and coupons for taquitos, sodas, and slurpees! We appreciate everyone who took time out of their day to join us. It’s moments like these that help bring our neighbors and local law enforcement closer together. Thank you for showing up Desert Hot Springs! #DesertHotSprings #DesertHotSpringsPoliceDepartment #7Eleven #CommunityConnections #CommunityPolicing by @cityofdhs

What an incredible success for Cabot’s Pueblo Museum’s Inaugural Haunted House! 🎃 This Halloween season, Cabot’s Pueblo Museum hosted its first-ever Haunted House, and the turnout for Halloween night was absolutely incredible! The rain made the experience even more unforgettable! There’s something about the desert after it rains—the scent of wet earth mixed with desert plants, fresh, earthy, and almost mystical. Now combine that with the historic Pueblo, its unique architecture, dark passageways, and unexpected scares. It was the perfect setting for a haunted house, almost like stepping into a classic horror movie! And if you notice the camera shaking a little, that was us trying not to jump! They added a few extra scares for Halloween night, and they definitely caught us off guard! We also saw some amazing costumes, from Alice and the Mad Hatter to Team Rocket! A huge thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who made this experience possible. It was wonderful to see such an incredible community turnout! Here’s hoping this becomes a new Halloween tradition at Cabot’s Pueblo Museum! 👻 #CabotsPuebloMuseum #HauntedHouse #DesertHotSprings #CommunitySpirit #CoachellaValley by @cityofdhs
