A father, a husband, a friend.

A human rights lawyer and defender of his people.

“Before the war, I worked as a lawyer, a defender of the rights of the oppressed, and a champion of truth wherever it may be. I had a house and land. We have become more like the dead. We breathe, but we have lost life and its meanings.”

We’ve been standing with Mohamed and his family for over 2.5 years, seen his son Ahmed grow up in the displacement camp the family of 11 have lived in for this entire time since their homes in Rafah were destroyed. We’ve seen the arrival of their youngest son Aseer who has only ever known life in a tent. Our solidarity ensures Mohamed can provide the most basic needs for his loved ones so they can survive.

If your basic needs are consistently met, redistribution should be part of your weekly or monthly budget. Most of us have more than we need.

Sending aid directly is the most honest and effective way to pay our reparations. Our donations are restoring dignity and assisting self determination - putting money directly in the hands of those who need it so that they can decide how best to spend it.

Solidarity requires sacrifice. Be that time, money, energy or all of the above.

Now is not the time to fall into despair when Palestinians need us most. Direct action and direct aid are the two most important things we can be doing right now. Risk and sacrifice.

We are currently supporting @melqadi and his family of 11. We've been standing with Mohamed and his family for over 2.5 years, seen his son Ahmed grow up in the displacement camp the family of 11 have lived in for this entire time since their homes in Rafah were destroyed. We've seen the arrival of their youngest son Aseer who has only ever known life in a tent. Our solidarity ensures Mohamed can provide the most basic needs for his loved ones so they can survive.

With winter on its way, as well as food, we water, land rent and medicine, our funds support Mohamed with preparing and repairing the tent to withstand the harsh winter weather conditions. The intense heat of summer has worn the tarps.

Words from Mohamed: "Before the war, I worked as a lawyer, a defender of the rights of the oppressed, and a champion of truth wherever it may be. I had a house and land. We have become more like the dead. We breathe, but we have lost life and its meanings."

Small acts of consistency from this steadfast community mean we can continue to pay reparations and ease some of their burdens.

This work isn't about raising temporary funds to ease guilt, it's the making and nurturing of connections. being in it for the long haul with dedication.

Bearing witness is not enough.
The ceasefire is a lie.
Palestinians are being murdered daily by the Zionist entity.
Our governments and taxes are still funding and enabling it.

October was perhaps our slowest month yet for material care, but due to steadfast hands who continue to show up with love and consistency we still managed to provide tangible care for the two main communities we support fortnightly as well as three other families we try and support monthly.

Mutual aid is the practice of showing up for each other, not because we feel we ought to but because we care.
Here we cultivate this care with love and solidarity... the kind of solidarity that costs you something for the good of someone else whose needs are far greater.
We recomit daily to looking in the mirror and asking if we’re doing all we can

On this day, 29 October 2000, 14-year-old Palestinian Faris Odeh stood alone in front of an “Israeli” occupation tank in Gaza and threw a stone at it during the second intifada against Israeli occupation.

Odeh had begun skipping school in order to throw stones at Israeli tanks, despite his parents doing everything they could to try to stop him. When his mother begged him to stop, fearing for his life, he’d simply say: “I’m not afraid.”

During the Second Intifada, he’d seen houses turned to rubble, friends being murdered and his family living in constant fear. His bravery made Faris a symbol of Palestinian resistance.

Ten days later, on 8 November, Odeh was again throwing stones at the Karni crossing when he was shot in the neck by the “Israeli” occupation and left him to bleed on the ground. He lay bleeding, so close to the tanks, that his friends could not reach him for over an hour. By the time they did, it was too late.
Faris was murdered.

Wow wow wow 🤍Our incredible embroidered Romanian blouse from the 1940s left us speechless when it arrived. Surely one of the most incredible blouses we’ve had arrive in the studio. Meticulously hand stitched with incredible detail. The true embodiment of artisanal craftsmanship with rich history, with its incredible embroidery work and pretty lace sleeve details. There are just not enough words to describe this one of a kind unique vintage piece.

These folklore blouses were mostly created within the home from homespun linen. This piece is almost 80 years, and just look at it… What an absolute treasure.

Modelled by @citythrifter ❤️

She’s part of our collection launching next week ~ 2nd November at 8pm.

Does it get much more incredible than this ?

Palestinians in Hebron are facing a sweeping Israeli lockdown and military assault, with large-scale demolitions across the city. More than 200 families were forcibly driven from their homes overnight, while “Israeli” forces seized some houses and converted them into military positions.

“Israeli” forces have deployed thousands of soldiers in Hebron and forced hundreds of families to leave their homes and belongings without providing alternative shelter. The displacement coincided with home demolitions.

The assault in Hebron threatens more than buildings, it risks disrupting livelihoods in one of Palestine’s key economic centres.
Hebron is a major centre of Palestinian commerce and manufacturing, with businesses ranging from family-run workshops to larger producers.
Its stone and marble, leather and footwear, plastics, glass, olive-oil, dairy, and gold sectors support jobs and livelihoods across the city.

These measures are part of a recurring “Israeli” policy aimed at undermining the very presence of Palestinians by tightening restrictions on residents, destroying their
property, forcibly displacing them from their homes, and imposing a coercive reality that erodes their fundamental rights.

Urgent funds needed for rebuilding work for the Shahwan community. @shahwanabd1

We’ve been standing with this family and the many others they support for over two years now, through multiple displacements, the joy of Alaa’s marriage and now 6 months into her first pregnancy as well as recent heartbreaking news of dear Nageh’s cancer.

Let’s continue to work together to ensure the Shahwans and their loved ones can remain steadfast on their land, helping them to provide safety and better shelter for their large community as they continue to rebuild from the remains of their family building.

Free Palestine means tangibly contributing to the survival of Palestinians in any way you can, with sacrifice and love.

This time last year I was about to embark on 6 months of chemotherapy followed by three weeks of radiotherapy for breast cancer.

It’s breast cancer awareness month…let’s take a moment to wade through the pink ribbons and understand what life in Palestine living with this disease looks like due to the deliberate destruction of their healthcare system , continued siege on life saving medical supplies and ongoing genocide by the Zionist, terrorist entity.
