We said cya later to another Kinetic Strength athlete moving on to the next level.
-
The first time I met CJ was my first year at the new spot. I had heard about CJ and how he committed to Michigan State, was a ranked player and all that jazz. We were having team practice on a Friday night and we were box jumping after he had come from basketball practice. He’s facial expression said “Why am I doing this right now? I just wanna hit and go home.”
-
Fast forward, CJ joined our program and made a huge impact. Leading the way for others to follow in his work ethic. Making his name louder than before. And yes improving his box jump to be the best in the gym.
-
Getting invites to a procase which wowed those in attendance to then being invited to the Super Sixty because of his performance. Having a spring season as a sharpened athlete with stats better than before. Then improving his rankings and making him a draft prospect out of high school for those to follow as he makes his run at MSU.
-
I could go over all his stats and how much strength he’s gained but again it’s not about the numbers. It’s about making an everlasting impact on these kids. Giving them something I wish I had.
-
I am sure we have made an impact on CJ.
-
Peace out ✌🏻
