Super proud of these two guys and the men they’ve become. Proud to call them my friends, and I’m excited for them to share their gifts with the world.

Ignore my weird arm

Well, we survived the annual backpacking trip. Make sure to watch the fun creek crossing at the end. by @cjfant

I’ve been trying to think of something deep and cool and witty and dramatic to say with this photo.

But whatever.

I enjoy taking photos in the wrong direction.

My hands hurt…

Also, here’s your basic drummer shot. ✌️ by @cjfant

Definitely enjoyed hanging with these two this weekend and on one of the weirdest Saturdays ever. No push-ups on the rock, please.

Also, who gets picture credit for a timer photo? 🤔 by @cjfant

Not sure if this was intentional, but I thought it was cool. 🤷‍♂️ by @cjfant

Been processing the role of social media quite a bit recently. Not that unique a thought, I know. But sometimes I approach social media to consciously enter into jealously, to find some sort of twisted excitement in feeling envy towards someone’s life, relationship status, looks, or whatever blank space you want to fill in.

I recently had the chance to go hang out with my sister @saranohaitch in NYC. It’s hard to describe how proud of her I am. She’s a butt-kicker and a name-taker, and I am so excited about where she’s at and where she’s continuing to go.

But to connect the dots, I definitely enjoyed my time getting to explore a tiny part of NYC, but I’ve felt pretty hesitant to post pictures anywhere. I don’t want to be the reason someone feels worse about where they’re at today. I think I personally want to begin (and continue) to reframe social media as a chance to celebrate with one another, to share joys and hardships with one another, to be proud of each other. Sometimes that’s the only way people feel comfortable sharing, and sometimes that’s the only way people feel celebrated.

Anyway, if you read all of this you must be pretty bored. I know I’ve never been a huge fan of armchair advice on Instagram, so apologies if I made you gag a little. I’ll post more pictures, maybe. ✌️ by @cjfant
