Hi, I’m Claire 🤍

Owner of Claire Guy Bridal Hair & Makeup… and honestly? I still can’t believe I get to call this my job.

It started with a love of making people feel confident. Not just “you look nice” confidence, but the kind where you stand a little taller, smile a little softer, and feel completely yourself. I’ve always been drawn to enhancing natural beauty, soft, polished hair and fresh, glowing makeup that still feels like you.

From early mornings and first clients… to now specialising in modern, natural bridal glam across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, The Cotswolds and further afield. I’ve built this business with heart.

Every trial in my garden salon.
Every wedding morning.
Every veil pinned.
Every final mirror moment.

I don’t just do hair… and I don’t just do makeup.
I hold hands. I calm nerves. I bring the energy or the peace that the room needs.

And I genuinely love it 🤍

If you’re new here, welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

Claire x

“I want something out there!” ✨

Mum of the bride showed me a picture, handed me a bag of accessories and let me get creative!

I absolutely loved creating this look. Bubble braids, textured waves and gorgeous little gold details throughout.

So different from the usual inspiration photos I’m shown, this Mum was absolutely thrilled and said it was better than she could have imagined. ❤️

Sometimes it’s lovely to step away from the usual styles and try something a little different.

Created at the beautiful @mataracentre

Pretty hair with a twist! 🥰 using the @divaprostyling multi wand to create these beautiful waves.

Meg 🤍 @hellomegg What a beautiful wedding yesterday at @mataracentre.

Textured half-up, half-down hair with a chunky braid, finished with the most gorgeous flowers from @oopsadaisycirencester tucked into her hair. 🌸

Makeup using my lovely @miicosmetics and curls created with the @divaprostyling multi wand for that perfect finish.

A beautiful look for a beautiful day! ✨it was so lovely to see @nicolaleggphoto again also 📸

Can you believe this is @zenluxuryextensions tape extensions 14inch in Shade 4A and PT4/18a

whaaaaat! I know it looks so natural, the colour is matched perfectly to my clients natural colour, you would never know!!
This is so life changing for my client after years of living with super fine hair, she said today “this has taken years off me”
She skips out of here with confidence knowing how amazing she looks!

I love showing hair extensions straight, by curling you can hide any flaws in the blend. This is perfection!

🖤 My bride handed me daggers…. 🗡️

A sleek up do with a low bun, finished with the most incredible dagger hair accessories and those gorgeous red details. 🖤❤️

I love it when a bride brings something a little different to the table. Your wedding hair should feel like you, and this was such a fun way to make the style personal.

@winkworthfarm I loved being back here again. ✨

Not “Just” a Hair and Makeup Artist….

#bridalhairandmakeup #bridalstylist #wedding2027 by @claireguybridal

I personally have been wearing @zenluxuryextensions extensions now for 10 years and guess what…. they have NOT ruined my hair.

My clients range from 20 years old to over 70. You don’t have to have long hair, you can add them at the front just to fill out the sides. Just a few pieces can make such a difference.

I asked some of my hair extensions clients, why they choose to have extensions… this is what they said.

⭐️I choose to have hair extensions to have longer, fuller hair whilst still maintaining a natural look.

⭐️I chose to have hair extensions because my hair is naturally quite thin, and having extensions has helped boost my confidence and made me feel more like myself.

⭐️To give my hair more volume

⭐️You suggested them for my wedding day 5 years ago and they completely changed my life and confidence hence why I’ve had them ever since

⭐️Hair extensions help my own hair ‘make a statement’ and look its best

⭐️There’s nobody else who smashes it like you!!!!

⭐️I choose to have hair extensions because it helps give the illusion of thicker and longer hair, I naturally have quite thin hair so it gives me more confidence

⭐️To have create more length and volume

⭐️Thinning hair

⭐️My hair has always been fine, it never held a style. I get so many compliments on my hair since I have been wearing extensions. It looks so natural as everyone assumes it’s mine. I wouldn’t be without them now.

⭐️I wanted to try them because my hair was fine and thin and needed a bit of help, extensions have made a massive difference to both my hair & my confidence so I’m a convert & wouldn’t want to be without them 😁

📸 Before and after extensions for @kejbaker who has been with me since the beginning. Her last set of extensions lasted 1 year!

Some couples love the idea of couple portraits, some don’t want any at all, and others would like a little gentle guidance and the chance to create some beautiful memories together.

I’m very happy to work with whatever feels right for you.

For this lovely pair, we took around 10 minutes for a wander around the family grounds in the beautiful evening light. They were such lovely, bubbly souls and didn’t take themselves too seriously, so we had lots of fun trying a few different things and capturing portraits that really felt like them.

It was also a chance for them to have a little time together, away from the crowd. Wedding days can be wonderfully busy, with so many people to talk to and things happening around you, so slipping away together for ten or fifteen minutes can actually be a really lovely part of the day.

And it certainly doesn’t need to take long. A short wander in some beautiful light can be plenty of time to create some gorgeous photographs together before heading back to your guests and the celebrations.
