“Teach Me Tonight” with the one and only @matfalmusic ! What fun we had😌

It’s always a pleasure to perform at @broadwayloftconcerts and to be in my home state🥹 While in Utah, I taught at the @vocaljazzacademy hosted by @snow_college_performing_arts and had a lovely time with new and old friends✨

I’m happy to share that I’m the 1st place winner of the 2025 Ella Fitzgerald Competition!

Huge thanks and appreciation to @bluesalleydc, the judges @nicolezmusic and @vanessarubinsings ⭐️ the other finalists, and of course to Miss Ella herself for being such an inspiration to my musical journey.

This is my arrangement of “That Old Black Magic” from the Harold Arlen songbook (also one of my selections for the competition). Full version is on my YouTube🫶🏻

Spent the week at @biasstudios recording the Airmen of Note’s next record of American folk music (including my arrangement of Home on the Range). Excited for this one🏜️

Currently on tour with the Airmen of Note. There’s nothing like fronting this band! These are from the other night in Senatobia, Mississippi.

We’re headed into the studio next week to record our next studio album! I wrote an arrangement for the band + vocals that will be featured on the record. Super excited to hear it come to life in the studio. I’ll be sharing more soon!!!

A little bit of “Lover Man” on our recent Bird + Strings tribute🎻 by @claracampbellmusic

I love having such intuitive musicians bring my ideas to life✨

What tune should I arrange next?
