I'm really fascinated by the bear I photographed in Labrador. She stayed 'with' us for hours. Not bothered by us nearby on the water watching her, she seemed very curious about us. We were all very curious about her. But the being that is that bear has stayed with me in my soul and so I used AI and photoshop to create an image that represents how I feel about our meeting. I may actually paint this on Canvas too. I hope it is obvious that this is a symbolic image. I was not and never will be that close to a living breathing polar bear. by @clarerossartist

Me! A brief interview for the Old Growth Forest exhibition at the Arts and Letters Club in Toronto.
Question:
Tell us about the importance of the forest floor and why you have selected it as an expression of the Project.
Answer: (abridged) The ground that trees are rooted in is maybe more important than above ground. I have come to think of trees as upside down to the way we typically think of them. The root is where trees get their nutrients and communication with other trees and plants around them. Their root is really their head! So what goes into the soil at their roots is critically important! #oldgrowthforest by @clarerossartist

I would make progress if I put more time aside! Why is it difficult to do the things I most want to do instead of chores and cleaning? It doesn't matter if there is dust or dishes! DO THE ART! by @clarerossartist
