POSTS STORIES REELS
two groups of kids. same classroom. one group cleaned up more 👀 one was told “you’re a neat and tidy person.” the other was told “you should be neat and tidy.” guess which one changed it wasn’t the rule. it was the label. same reason one comment can wreck your whole day 🤍 why who you think you are changes what you do 🤍 how “you’re so reliable” turns into a bar you can’t drop 🤍 what happens when one comment questions the label (one classic study with kids, not the whole story, but it helps explain a lot) save this for the next time a comment sticks. comment SPIRAL for the full episode, or it’s at the link in bio #whydoescriticismhurt #psychologystudy #psychologyfacts #selfperception #identity personalgrowth twentysomething clearlybecoming podcastclips by @clearlybecoming
if this is how people see me, is that the real me? 🫠 two comments. both feedback. one felt like a way to grow, the other felt like an attack on my personality so where’s the line between self-reflection and self-destruction? 🤍 why the work comment didn’t bother me and the personal one did 🤍 the tools i actually use 🤍 how to tell the difference in the moment send this to the friend who spirals over one sentence comment SPIRAL and i’ll send you the full episode, or find it at the link in bio 🤍 #whydoescriticismhurt #howtotakecriticism #selfreflection #selfawareness #identitycrisis overthinking twentysomething clearlybecoming podcastclips by @clearlybecoming
if a coworker talked to you like you talk to yourself, you’d report her 😭 and yet you let it run your whole day. what you keep repeating becomes the story you tell about who you are. so try “act as if” - show up as the disciplined version of you first. the belief shows up later. (rude of it, honestly.) full ep: the “i’m not good enough” loop + what i’m doing about it comment REWIRE and i’ll send it, or link in bio ✨ what’s the meanest thing you’ve said to yourself this week? confession booth is open 👇 clearly becoming 🍸 ambitious + confused (at the same time) #selfdoubt #20s #clarity #pyscholgy by @clearlybecoming
hot take: you don’t get to say no until you’ve said yes to a few things 🙃 (and no, that’s not people-pleasing) “in your 20s, you have to earn the right to say no.” how do you know your standards if you’ve never tested them? say yes to the experiment, then let the experience show you where your no is. sequel energy to the saying-no glow up ep 🍸 comment NO and i’ll send it, or link in bio 🤍 clearly becoming 🍸 ambitious + confused (at the same time) #sayingno #corporatelife #boundaries #twentysomething by @clearlybecoming
who’s living rent-free in your head rn? 👀 (be honest) plot twist: it’s rarely about them. “that foundation of what you actually value and what you actually want.” that’s what the spiral is pointing at. not a flaw. a signal. (a loud, annoying one.) full ep: how i turn the spiral into a clue comment VALUES and i’ll send it, or link in bio ✨ who was it?? (no names, just vibes) 👇 clearly becoming 🍸 ambitious + confused (at the same time) #obsessed #20s #careertok #personalbrand by @clearlybecoming
the 5-year plan is cooked. fight me 🧩 not because planning is bad. because at 22 you don’t have the data yet. “the beauty of life is not having everything figured out.” collect experiences, connect the dots later, and ask one question: does this add value to my life or not? full ep: the “no-plan plan” + how i step up anyway comment UNKNOWN and i’ll send it, or link in bio 🤍 clearly becoming 🍸 ambitious + confused (at the same time) #futureplan #careerpath #twentysomething by @clearlybecoming
“your brain is done at 25” did so much damage to our generation 😭 cambridge scanned almost 4,000 brains and said: so about that... “age 32 was the strongest turning point for the whole lifespan.” you’re not behind. you’re mid-upgrade. (averages, not a deadline) full ep: why feeling unfinished at 23 actually tracks comment 32 and i’ll send it, or link in bio ✨ send to the friend who keeps saying she’s “late” clearly becoming 🍸 ambitious + confused (at the same time) #neuroscience #20s #adulting by @clearlybecoming
unpopular opinion: doing everything “right” is exactly why you feel lost 🫠 “everything feels so linear, but i’ve never been more confused.” new city, new job, new people - your brain’s autopilot didn’t survive the move. not you failing. you relearning what to look for. the full ep has the taxi story 🚕 + the question i ask instead of “what’s my plan?” comment CONFUSED and i’ll send it, or link in bio 🤍 drop your confusion confession below. i’m reading all of them 👇 clearly becoming 🍸 ambitious + confused (at the same time) #20something #corporatelife #nonlinearpath by @clearlybecoming
same goal. same gym membership. completely different results. the difference usually isn’t discipline — it’s the lens you’re looking through. 🤎 victim mindset vs. objective lens, and how to tell which one you’re actually in 🤎 the fitness example that makes this click instantly 🤎 how to look at your own goals without the main-character spiral 🤎 why “just be more consistent” misses the actual point this is the clip that ties the whole episode together. full episode linked in bio, or comment “lens” and i’ll send it over 🤍 you can be ambitious and confused at the same time. #rosecolouredglasses #perceptionisreality #clearlybecoming #perpective #20 by @clearlybecoming
you’re not weak for having the urge. you’re tired from fighting it. there’s an actual neuroscience reason your gut feeling isn’t something to override. 🤎 what somatic markers are (and why your body is smarter than you think) 🤎 the real cost of constantly overriding your gut 🤎 what to do with an urge instead of suppressing it 🤎 how this frees up way more mental energy than you’d think maybe the urge was never the problem. maybe it was information you were too scared to read. comment “urge” and i’ll send you the full episode, or link in bio 🤍 #neuroscience #clearlybecoming #intuition #mentalenergy #postgrad by @clearlybecoming
“that’s just who i am” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. personality isn’t fixed — it’s a reflection of your behaviours. 🤎 why personality feels permanent (it’s not) 🤎 what actually rewires it - and it’s not a vision board 🤎 the one small behavior shift that moves the bigger pattern 🤎 why this matters for your career, not just your vibe you can be ambitious and confused at the same time. comment “rewire” and i’ll send you the full episode 🤍 #personalitydevelopment #urges #becoming #cleardirection by @clearlybecoming
we’ve been taught that urges are something to fight. they’re not. they’re data — you just need to learn how to read them yet. 🤎 why “ignore the urge” is actually bad advice 🤎 how to tell an urge worth chasing from one worth questioning 🤎 what this has to do with your actual values and mission, not just willpower 🤎 the two-question test i use on myself every mistake is data, not a verdict - and so is every urge. full episode breaks this down start to finish. check the link in bio 🤍 #urges #pyschology #introspective #careergirl #postgrad by @clearlybecoming
