What an evening! CLEMONTÍN had the pleasure of hosting the welcome dinner for @verandamag first-ever Trade Secrets Summit in Birmingham coinciding with @antiquesgardensbham.

We had such a ball planning this special soirée! Tables were dressed in snappy green stiped fabric from @cecmilano @paulplusatlanta with chocolate piping from @samuelandsons and were tucked in throughout the shoppe in the Orangerie, in the Garden Room, and in the Library. Porcelain flowers of every color and size from @vieuxtempsporcelain along with glowing pleated shades and cordless lamps from event Sponsor @pookylights became spectacular centerpieces. With embroidered linens, Moroccan glasses, and French Aptware place settings, the tabletop was a feast for the eyes!

Guests started with cocktails like the CLEMONTÍN Gimlet, Pooky’s 75 Punch, and LEE’s Wonderland Old Fashioned, and then sat down to a family-style supper of small bites including caprese bites, tuna tartare, and mini tomato pies from @trelunacatering.

For dessert, we served hand-made chocolates and tiny cakes on a papier-mâché tree stump we made to celebrate event Sponsor @leeindustries new fabric, Wonderland Fawn, shown on the tablecloths for the stump and for the bar. Lee also surprised guests with a tote tied with a custom scarf in the same print!

Special thanks to @leeindustries and to @pookylights for sponsoring the event and to @verandamag for the honor of hosting and for bringing so many talented designers to Birmingham to showcase our wonderful community! What a joy to fill the shoppe with so many friends! 🧡 by @clemontinshoppe

What a year! 2024 was a joyful, busy whirlwind. We opened our doors in August and welcomed customers into our orangerie-inspired showroom filled with antiques and one-of-a-kind decorative items.

In November, Veranda recognized CLEMONTÍN as one of its World’s Most Beautiful Shops … and only days later, Veranda published its first-ever “Designer DIY” featuring our majolica plate wall created by our owner, Stephanie Lynton, which has had more than 153,000 views on Instagram! We are over the moon with joy and gratitude!

2025 will be even busier at CLEMONTÍN! The launch of our website is around the corner. We are adding even more bespoke items to the shoppe—NEW custom drink tables and Aptware in addition to our custom faux marble pedestals in various heights. Also, we will be expanding the shoppe to add garden antiques! Wishing you a bright and happy New Year! by @clemontinshoppe

The plate wall IS back! 125,000 views of our plate wall tutorial @verandamag is amazing! Thank you @steelemarcoux for the wonderful article and for sharing the “how to.”

Come see the plate wall and shop the new CREAM cabbage ware that arrived this week.

We will be open EVERV DAY from 11-4 p.m. the week of December 16th -20th. Come celebrate with us!

It’s mushroom season! A little woodland has popped up in the shoppe: Stone toadstools with bright red caps (there are doubles and singles,) a carved wooden mushroom, and just a few frogs tucked into the moss and ferns.

After we shared images from the @verandamag Trade Secrets Welcome Dinner here at CLEMONTÍN, so many of you asked about the tree stump dessert centerpiece. Surprise! It’s papier-mâché, and we made it just for the evening.

Our friends at @leeindustries introduced their new fabric, Wonderland Fawn, at the event. The fabric has woodland creatures (including the most endearing squirrel), so we wanted a centerpiece that dovetailed with the spirit of the fabric. I began looking for inspiration on my bulletin board. Pinned there for years was a picture of a mossy stump turned into a fairy house, and I thought, this is it!

I started brainstorming with Elton (our super duper handy man at @stephanielyntonhome) on how to create the frame of the piece. We came up with stacking pieces of Sonotube (the cardboard forms used for pouring concrete columns), and then we cut in the shelves, built up the undersides and edges with foil, pressed on the papier-mâché bark texture by hand, and finished it with paint, moss, live ferns, and little mushrooms. On the night of the dinner, we placed sweet treats on the small ledges. Just a touch of whimsy to delight guests and to highlight Wonderland Fawn!

That’s really what CLEMONTÍN is all about, and if we cannot find just the right piece, by George, we’ll create it! 🧡

Stay tuned for what comes off the board next.

Have you ever seen a more winsome fall harvest?! These ruby radishes, turnips, beets, heads of garlic, petit pois, and bundles of colorful carrots are hand-crafted from copper and clay, painted, and set into a turned wooden specimen stand.

Shown here in our bespoke “Auricula Theater,” these little cuties look just as wonderful as the centerpiece for your fall harvest supper or clustered on a kitchen window sill. And for the gardener that has everything, they are the perfect gift!

Sold separately. DM for pricing. We ship everywhere! by @clemontinshoppe
