JAILER 2 × BATHHTHA – DOUBLE REVIEW So, two movies, two completely different experiences! First up, Jailer 2 Thalaivar is back with his signature style, mass moments and swag. Nelson brings his usual dark humour, while Anirudh’s music adds energy. But does it match the impact of the first part? That’s a different question. Next, Baththa! Vijay Sethupathi once again proves why he’s such a versatile performer. The film offers an interesting story, strong performances and emotional moments. However, the pacing could have been better in certain portions. Final Verdict Jailer 2 is for the mass entertainers, while Baththa is for those who enjoy character-driven storytelling. So, which one wins your Friday Matinee? Thalaivar’s mass or Vijay Sethupathi’s magic? by @climax.bnb

**Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! 🎬** **Today’s Movie Review: It’s A Medical Miracle** Directed by **Shyamin Gireesh**, *It’s A Medical Miracle* is a supernatural thriller built around a truly unusual concept — a young man who wakes up after being declared brain-dead, only to discover that he can hear sounds with extraordinary clarity. What makes the film interesting is its **distinctive concept, sound-driven storytelling and performances**, especially from Sangeeth Prathap and Sharafudheen. The film blends mystery, thriller and supernatural elements while exploring the strange new world experienced by its protagonist. A different concept with an cinematic experience. Overall just an Okeyish one 👍 One time watchable **Successfully running in theatres. 🎬** **No spoilers… experience the miracle yourself! 🍿** by @climax.bnb
**Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! 🎬** **Today’s Movie Review: Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkaran** Directed by **Shahad** and starring **Parvathy Thiruvothu** in the lead, *Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkaran* is an investigation thriller that takes the audience through a gripping tale of crime, justice and hidden truths. The film builds its story around a seemingly straightforward investigation, but the way the narrative unfolds keeps you engaged. The performances, atmosphere and investigative elements come together to create an intense cinematic experience. A film that explores how **truth can remain hidden, but crime eventually leaves a trail.** **Successfully running in theatres. 🎬** **No spoilers… just experience it yourself! 🍿** by @climax.bnb
Welcome to **Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee!** 🎬 **Today’s Movie Review: UNMAADAM** Directed by **Kiran Das** and written by **Shahi Kabir**, *Unmaadam* is a Malayalam psychological crime thriller starring **Kunchacko Boban and Lijomol Jose** in the lead. The film takes a familiar investigative setup and gives it a mysterious and unsettling treatment. What really works for me is the way the film slowly builds its atmosphere and keeps the mystery alive without giving away too much. Kunchacko Boban once again proves how effectively he can step into a more serious and layered character, while the overall technical execution adds to the mood of the film. A slow-burn thriller with an interesting premise, strong performances and an atmosphere that stays with you. just go watch it!** #MathaeysFridayMatinee #Unmaadam #KunchackoBoban #LijomolJose #MalayalamCinema MovieReview FridayMatinee by @climax.bnb
**Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! 🎬** **Today’s Movie Review: Bethlehem Kudumba Unit** A **rom-com entertainer** that blends romance, comedy and family moments into a light-hearted cinematic experience. Ashly & Jestin ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 The plot may feel simple, but it’s the **execution, humour, characters and chemistry** that keep the film engaging. With plenty of fun moments, relatable situations and a good dose of romance, the movie delivers exactly what it promises — **a fun time at the theatres.** ❤️ A light, breezy entertainer that you can enjoy with your friends and family. **No spoilers… just go watch it! 🍿🎬** by @climax.bnb
Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! Today’s Movie Review: DC Directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures. It’s a romantic action thriller film lead by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy. The film has got a usual plot but the expansion of the film remains in its execution. Beautifully showcased the brutality, violence and revenge. Successfully running in theatres. No spoilers… just go watch it! by @climax.bnb
### Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! 🎬 **Today’s Review: *Meiyazhagan*** *Meiyazhagan* is a beautiful and emotionally engaging drama that proves you don’t need larger-than-life moments to create a lasting impact. The film is carried by its extraordinary performances, heartfelt writing, and deeply human emotions. What makes *Meiyazhagan* special is the way it finds beauty in simple conversations, relationships, memories, and the little moments that often mean the most. One of the film’s biggest strengths is its pacing. It takes its time, allowing the characters and their emotions to breathe. Instead of rushing through the story, the film slowly builds an emotional connection that stays with you long after the credits roll. by @climax.bnb
Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! Today’s Review: Spider-Man: Brand New Day Spider-Man: Brand New Day feels like the Spider-Man movie fans have been waiting for. Instead of trying to outdo every previous MCU film with bigger multiverse stakes, it brings Peter Parker back to what made him relatable in the first place, a young man trying to balance responsibility, loss, and hope. An emotionally satisfying return to the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Anyway… No spoilers… just go watch it! by @climax.bnb
Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! Today’s Review: Obsession Obsession is a smart and emotionally engaging horror film. The movie is an example that proves you don’t need excessive gore or constant jump scares to create fear. Compassed with extraordinary performances and peak level disturbance. One of the film’s biggest strengths is its pacing. It doesn’t rush into horror, but slowly falls into its horror side elegantly. Anyway… No spoilers… just go watch it! by @climax.bnb
Welcome to Mathaeys’ Friday Matinee! Today’s Review: Escape from Pretoria It’s a 2020 prison film co-written and directed by Francis Annan, based on the real-life prison escape that happened in South Africa, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Daniel Webber. The plot revolves around the escape of the protagonist, who understands the daily routines of the jail and planning for the escape. The movie is a beautiful blend of thriller, drama, and biography. Anyway… No spoilers… just go watch it! by @climax.bnb
