We are so proud to announce that this year’s Blossoms Vol. II raised $2080 for the dolls! All proceeds have gone to our beloveds @trans_income_project Big shout out to our sponsors, our community, @sideshowpizzanola and forever and always the team @annasnola for supporting us and opening your doors to our queer family. Thank you endlessly. Thank you to everyone who donated and came to share community this past July. We are queer founded grassroots organization and we literally couldn’t do it without you. We cannot wait for Vol. III. You ready?! See you next July @tales_of_the_cocktail Where Blossoms be more queer, more trans, and everything in between. With so much love and appreciation ❤️‍🔥 🌸Hoy semillas mañana flores🌸 <3 @exagriff & @clnelson9 by @clnelson9
60 years ago in New York City, it was illegal for people to be openly gay in a bar, let alone to be working behind the well. We could have been jailed for holding our partners hand, for simply sitting in queer joy. For putting on this party. Blossoms is about reclaiming our third space, through community, and through sowing seeds for the dolls so they can bloom and grow. It always goes back to the trans community. Without trans people we will never truly be able to grow and to blossom. Thank you @annasnola @tales_of_the_cocktail Thank you all for showing up and I hope you can continue to support our incredibly diverse community. We hope you enjoyed the drinks. We hope you enjoyed the music. Enjoyed the queer joy. Take care of each other. We will see you next year. Hoy semillas mañana Flores. With so much love and gratitude in our hearts <3 @exagriff & @clnelson9 @sideshowpizzanola @trans_income_project by @clnelson9

Blossoms would love to introduce you to @_nomudnolotus_ and @kitchen_alden the founders of @sideshowpizzanola They will be popping up with us @annasnola !!! Just like Blossoms uses cocktails to reach and uplift community, both these southern gems use food as a way to build community. Not only that, but for the past year, they have worked directly with @trans_income_project in managing their meal program to provide food directly onto the tables our trans brothers and sisters in need. We will see you in three weeks. Come hungry! Alden and Nick will be serving big ole delicious pasta while we shake for TIP. These angels will also be donating a percentage of their proceeds to Blossoms and the Trans Income Project. Thank you two so much! <3 @exagriff & @clnelson9 by @clnelson9

I’m not very good at talking about myself. But I’m feeling very thankful for my world rn. So here’s a little dump. This year I celebrated 10 years married to my husband. 🐒 Gotta see my nephew, and we have the same kicks. 👠 Celebrated a year with my Couyon, and I can’t wait for more. 🫰🏼🐸 I won second place and first place at two separate cocktail competitions. 🍸 Moved in with my poly and built a home. ❤️‍🔥 I started a fundraiser that supports trans babies. 🏳️‍⚧️ Popped up at my favorite bar in New Orleans with my mentor 🕊️ And and and and… Thank you life. Love you endlessly. Let’s do some more. Cause I really like falling in love over and over again. ❤️‍🔥 This past year gave me a lot life. And I can’t wait for more. by @clnelson9

I’ve been feeling such rage the past few weeks living in this country. Seeing my immigrant, trans, queer, Palestinian brothers and sisters attacked, silenced, and systematically erased from the narrative. Thrown in cages. Disappeared. Here are some photos of what our community actually looks like. What it feels like to hold and protect the dolls, the theys and thems. The queer. The near and dear to my heart. I’m Mexican. I’m queer. And I will continue to protect and defend this community. We are so so many. And we cannot be erased. We will not. 🫰🏼❤️‍🔥🫰🏼 📸 @leonejuice and myself by @clnelson9
