Building a dedicated digital home for your group shouldn't come with a hidden tax whether that tax is paid in subscription fees or user data tracking.

When you build your space on platforms structured solely for corporate monetization, your community isn't the priority; their ad algorithm is. Your users end up dealing with endless distractions, compromised privacy, and chaotic interfaces.

We believe creators and community managers deserve an alternative.

Watch the video below to see how seamlessly you can spin up a free community on CloakShell.

What this means for your users: They get a fast, fluid, premium community experience where they can interact in real time without being tracked, profiled, or sold to.

Total digital sovereignty, completely free to start. Click the link to deploy your community today.

Tomorrow, a major social platform is officially pulling the plug on end-to-end encryption for direct messages. 🛑
What does this actually mean for you? It means the platform will regain the technical ability to read and scan the contents of your private chats. Your conversations lose their “for your eyes only” status.
Privacy shouldn’t be an “optional” feature that a company can just turn off. When you communicate online, you deserve to know that your words, photos, and ideas are secure.
At CloakShell, privacy isn’t a setting—it’s our foundation. Zero ads, zero tracking, and absolutely no scanning of your private conversations. Your data is yours.
If you’re looking for a truly secure home for your community, hit the link in our bio. 🐢

The balance between "too much noise" and "hidden information" is the hardest part of community management.

Threads are amazing for keeping main channels clean, but what happens when a threaded conversation becomes essential for everyone to see?

Today, we’re bridging that gap on CloakShell with our newest feature: Send to Channel for Threads. 🧵➡️📢

Now, when replying in a thread, you can toggle an option from the web composer to push that reply to the main timeline simultaneously.
✅ It drops in with a neat little chip that links directly back to the source thread for instant context.
✅ It works seamlessly across Channels, DMs, and Group DMs.
🤖 For our devs: Bots see the exact same chip in their event payloads!

Oh, and if you haven't checked out the Discover page lately, go take a look. We gave it a nice visual polish and it is looking sharper than ever. ✨

How do you handle surfacing important buried conversations in your current workflow? 👇

$Forcing a massive community into a 500 member group chat isn't a migration. It's an eviction. 🛑 A major platform is officially shutting down its community feature by May 30th. Their solution is to push everyone into capped group chats. But we all know a chaotic group chat isn't a substitute for a structured, dedicated community space. If you're a creator or community manager scrambling for a new home, CloakShell is ready for you. ✅ Unlimited members (No 500-person caps!) ✅ Structured forums and threaded replies ✅ No ads, no data mining ✅ A permanent home you actually control Don't let your community fracture. cloakshell.com by @cloakshell$
