Halloween season is upon us, and this dark and mysterious new EP from emerging producer Konitom Beats is setting the mood just right. 😈

Opening the set is title track “Restless”: a devilishly dark slice of acid-laced techno. The track is led by a dirty electro synth, paired with a beating kick drum and raw, slapping 80s style snare that work together like an industrial machine. The system comes fully to life with the addition of a snarling 303 line in the second half, emerging from the murky depths to pull you under.

Track 2 “Mindlock Pending” ramps the tension even further up with quivering arpeggios and ghostly vocal pads, held tightly together with a crisp, minimal beat. Both tracks come with excellent remixes by KYB and Son Of Abe, each pushing up the tempo and sparking new energy into their source material.

Another immaculate release from the ever-dependable Clockhouse Records, that’s made for the witching hour. 🕰️👻 Grab it on @bandcamp if you dare. by @clockhouserecords

Restless EP from Clock House Records is out to buy on Bandcamp from this Thursday 8th October. Featured here is the @sonofabe_dj remix, bringing the original to the dance floor with colourful deep acid disco house.

The Future we Fear - inspired by the hauntingly beautiful and very prophetic poem "The Unprompted" by the incredibly talented @salomeagbaroji

A hot topic at the moment for sure but something that the mainstream news outlets & politicians are finally waking up to and taking seriously. If you ask me we only have ourselves to blame for the most part. I for one am equally enslaved to technology as disturbed by where we have chosen to take it. I am not even sure if it regulation will help at this juncture - incredibly powerful models are readily available open source so struggle to see it could be effectively reined in or slowed down.

Track 2 from ‘Advance EP’ on Clock House Recs is out now. ‘The Future We Fear’ by Infinity Plus One feat. Love Shamar delivers deep house grooves with magical synth leads and basslines and a hefty message as this pair consistently delivers. Another standout track on this EP - exclusive to Bandcamp - link in bio to our Bandcamp page. 🔥🔥

“Your box is not for me,” Love Shamar declares defiantly on @infinity.plus_one’s fresh new track “Your Box”. And they’re true to their word. This standout from the new ‘Advance’ EP refuses to stay in one lane, slipping effortlessly between acid house, electro and deep techno roots across its two mixes. 🏃‍♂️🔲

The original mix grabbed me instantly, with its sharp 303 bassline laying the foundations beneath a minimal electro breakbeat. Georgia-based @loveshamar delivers spoken vocals that hit hard and true: bold, confident lines that make this one a real stand-out tune.
On remix duties, Clockhouse Records regular @jim.kyb takes things to a dreamier place, with sparkling arpeggios, warm, mystical pads and a hypnotic groove.

This 4-tracker is out now via @clockhouserecords’ Bandcamp, and once again proves this is a label well worth keeping in your sights. ⏰👀 by @clockhouserecords
