Here’s what real estate experts are saying about 2026 and why the coming year could be one of the most interesting markets we’ve seen in a while.

Key shifts to watch:
 • Mortgage rates may edge into the high-5% range
 • Home prices are projected to rise modestly — not dramatically
 • Affordability could slowly improve for the first time in years
 • More balanced activity between buyers and sellers

If you are selling in 2026 DM me to connect about what this means for you!

The best time to buy a home in the Boston area might be right now, not May.

In MA, there were 5,612 homes for sale in May and 8,582 today. That gives you more room to negotiate and more time to make a decision you feel good about.

Sellers who list in the fall usually have a date they need to hit. You also get to see how a home handles a rainy week, a cold morning, and shorter days before you sign anything.

If you’re thinking about buying a home in Boston or the surrounding suburbs and want an agent who knows where those homes are, send me a DM. I’d love to talk.

If you keep up with Charlotte’s OOTD posts, you won’t be surprised that she merged her two favorite things (lattes & shopping) with some of her favorite people!

Sipping on French Toast & Pumpkin Cheesecake lattes from @hausof_brew while shopping before @madewell in Hingham opened their doors to the public this was the perfect way to start a Sunday morning.

I love me a good before & after 🤎

One of my favorite parts of real estate is helping my clients see the potential in a space. Sometimes all it takes is a little paint, moulding & a few thoughtful design choices that completely change the feel of a room.

My clients knew about three minutes in. The rest of the house just confirmed it.

It was an honor to represent the amazing buyers of this South Shore home. What sold them was not the square footage or the finishes. It was the neighborhood and the day to day lifestyle. It was charming details that you can’t put in a listing description. It was standing in backyard and just knowing this was the one.

If you’ve been waiting on the right one, or wondering how your home would do on the market, that’s a conversation worth having.

I took some time this week to look back at what this year in Boston, MA real estate has actually looked like.

If you’re thinking about buying or selling in Boston or the surrounding suburbs, my DMs are open.

Swipe through for the numbers, a few of the stories behind them, and a personal update too.

This year has taken me through the city, the South Shore, North Shore, and Metro West. Some of it was listings, some of it was people moving to the Boston area who had never set foot here before, and a lot of it was buyers who searched for months before the right one came up. I’m grateful for every one of them.
