✨A luxury private members club for women who want to travel solo, but never alone✨
Join us ⬇️

POSTS STORIES REELS

We've been wondering how to say thank you and celebrate our first anniversary in typical Club Avandra style. 🎉

Our first year has been shaped by the extraordinary women who took a chance on us, packed their bags and turned strangers into friends. 🫶

So it felt right to celebrate by welcoming more fabulous women to the Club!

That's exactly why we're giving away 10 full-year exclusive memberships to Club Avandra.

Maybe you've been following us for a while, saving the trip posts and thinking "one day".

Maybe you know someone who's talked about travelling solo for years but hasn't found the right way to do it.

Think of the friend who always organises everyone else's holidays but never her own.

The colleague who's just stepped back from a big career and is wondering what's next.

The sister who keeps saying "next year".

👉 Consider this your sign.

To enter our anniversary giveaway:

1️⃣ Follow @clubavandra

2️⃣ Tag two women who should be members

3️⃣ Tell us where in the world you'd love Club Avandra to take you 🌎

Entries close at Midnight on 4th November. 10 winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the closing date.

Be as adventurous as you like with your answers. We'll be reading every one, and a few might just end up on the itinerary. 👇

The most interesting women we know have one thing in common. They never stopped saying yes.

👉 Yes to the trip.

👉 Yes to the dinner invitation from a woman they only met that morning.

👉 Yes to a pasta lesson in Puglia or a cold plunge in Finland.

Club Avandra is an exclusive membership for women who want to say yes to something more.

They're smart, curious, well-travelled and excellent company. Women who would rather meet the maker than queue for the gift shop.

Here are 10 good reasons why joining our membership makes so much sense:

💎 The company. Clever, funny women with stories worth hearing

💎 The access. Doors opened by hosts with decades of contacts, from a private museum in Petra to tastings with the women who made the wine.

💎 The freedom. Your own room, your own pace, and company whenever you want it.

💎 The adventure. Sunset in Wadi Rum, the Camino in Galicia, fresh powder in Verbier.

💎 The conversations that start over dinner and are still going at midnight.

💎 The learning. A new scent in Malta, a new way to move in Helsinki.

💎 The ease. Every detail is handled, so all you need to bring is your curiosity.

💎 The friendships, which carry on long after you’re home.

💎 The evenings between trips and our exclusive events.

💎 And the simple pleasure of doing something entirely for yourself.

Life is far too interesting to wait for someone else’s diary to free up.

Which of these strikes a chord with you? Let us know in the comments below.

🎉 Our anniversary giveaway of 10 full-year memberships closes at midnight this Wednesday, 4 November. Don't miss it on Instagram if you know someone you think would love to join our wonderful community.☺️

The clocks have gone back, it’s dark by five, and we’ve started daydreaming about Finland.

The Finns have been named the world’s happiest people nine years running, despite some of the longest, darkest winters in Europe. We’d love to know their secret.

So we asked someone who knows.

Marja Putkisto, founder of the world-renowned Method Putkisto, is hosting four days in Helsinki with us next summer, when the days barely end.

Each morning starts with a walk and a workshop with Marja: stretching, strengthening and breathing techniques you’ll bring home and actually keep using.

Afternoons are yours to shape. Take a boat out to the archipelago for a swim in the Baltic, or wander the design district with your new travel companions.

In the evenings, there’s dinner at Michelin-starred Olo, and city views from the rooftop at 10. Kerros.

Then there’s Hotel St George. Its spa, with a coastal sauna, cold plunge pool and Neurosonic lounge, might just be the highlight.

This is a trip for women who want to come home with more than a tan and a full camera roll: new habits, new friends and a little Finnish calm.

So, be honest. Are you a sauna-and-cold-plunge woman, or a candlelit-dinner woman? Let us know in the comments 👇

Head to our website to find out all the details for our trip to Helsinki next year or get in touch to find out more about our exclusive membership. 💖

In case you missed it, we’re celebrating our first anniversary by giving away 10 full-year memberships to Club Avandra. 🎉

So what does membership mean?

It means joining a private community of women who love to travel and want to do it differently.

Women who are curious, independent and ready for experiences you won’t find in a standard travel brochure. Many arrive on their first trip as strangers and leave as friends.

As a member, you’ll have access to our small-group trips, plus members' events from wellness, fashion, cocktails, workshops and more to look forward to back home.

It’s for the woman who’s ready to travel solo, but not alone. 🫶

Maybe that’s you. Or maybe it’s the friend who’s been saying “one day” for long enough.

To enter our anniversary giveaway:

1️⃣ Follow @clubavandra

2️⃣ Tag two women who should be members

3️⃣ Tell us where in the world you’d love Club Avandra to take you 🌎

Already entered? Share this with someone who needs a nudge.

Entries close at midnight on 4th November. 10 winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the closing date.

We’re planning some of our future trips right now, so let us know where you'd most love to visit; your answer might just make the final itinerary👇

Picture it: a small group of Club Avandra women, somewhere between Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea.

In October 2027, we’re heading to Jordan for six days, hosted by our co-founder Debbie Flynn, who chairs our Advisory Board and spent 21 years leading the UK Jordan Tourism Board. Few people know this country better.

The trip is built around the kind of access most travellers never get:

✨ Private museum viewings in Petra

✨ Dinner among a royal car collection

✨ A sunset recital in Wadi Rum, followed by a desert sky full of stars

✨ Nights at the St Regis Amman, luxury glamping in the desert and a spa retreat on the Dead Sea

✨ Time with local female guides and entrepreneurs throughout

If you’re already imagining yourself there, that’s exactly the feeling we hope every Club Avandra trip creates.

We'd love to hear what you'd be most excited to experience in Ancient Jordan - would it be Petra, Wadi Rum or the Dead Sea?

👉 You can find out more about all of our 2027 trips on our website: https://www.clubavandra.com/experience/six-day-journey-through-jordan/

You've built a career. Raised a family. Run a business, the household, or both.

And now you find yourself wondering what's next?

For many of our members, the answer starts with curiosity.

A city they've always wanted to understand.

A skill they've never had time to learn.

A conversation with someone whose life looks completely different from their own.

Club Avandra is built for women who still want to learn, explore and be surprised.

That might mean making perfume with a master in Malta, learning Method Putkisto in Helsinki, or tasting wine with the women who made it in Galicia.

It might simply mean sitting at a dinner table with women who ask good questions and really listen to the answers.

New places. New skills. New friendships. All on your own terms.

What's something you've always wanted to learn, but never found the time for?

Most travellers pass straight through Casablanca on their way to somewhere else. We think they're missing out.

Look a little closer and you'll find a city full of surprises: elegant Art Deco boulevards, a medina packed with flavour, and the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque standing right on the edge of the Atlantic.

Our three-night trip shows you the side of Casablanca most visitors never see.

🌊 You'll stay at Royal Mansour Casablanca, with Atlantic views and the celebrated Le Rooftop restaurant

🌊 A guided medina food tour will introduce you to sfenj, msemen and more

🌊 A private guide will take you through the Art Deco quarter, the corniche and Hassan II Mosque

🌊 And an evening reserved for Club Avandra members, with live oud music and Laurent-Perrier, rounds it all off

Three days, one remarkable city, and a small group of women who love discovering a place properly.💖

👉 Architecture, food or the music-filled evening: which part of magical Casablanca would you look forward to most?

We're heading with a small group of women next October in 2027.

You can find all the details on our website or send us a DM for more info.

What. A. Year. 🥂

Three cities. Four countries explored. Launch parties on three continents. It’s been an absolute whirlwind, and we’ve loved every single minute.🫶

And to think, a little over a year ago, Club Avandra was just an idea and it all started with conversations.✨

Conversations with women who loved to travel but were looking for something that simply didn’t exist yet.

Women who wanted more than another week in the usual places with the usual people. Women whose friends’ diaries never quite line up. Whose partners would rather stay home.

Who have a list of places they’ve always meant to see, and had quietly stopped waiting for someone to go with.

Those conversations sparked Club Avandra. We hoped that if we built something genuinely special, those women would find us.

You did.

We launched in London, then Sydney, then New York. Since then we’ve woken up in cave hotels in Matera, wandered Helsinki with people who know it best, held on tight through 35-knot winds off Mallorca and laughed far too much at a vineyard in Rye. Women who arrived as strangers left as friends.

Every one of those moments happened because someone took a leap and said yes. So before anything else, thank you to everyone who has joined us along the way so far. We can’t wait for our second year. We have so many exciting plans in the pipeline and believe us, you won’t want to miss out.

We also have a few birthday surprises to share with you this week, and we think you’re going to love them. 🥂

👉 Watch this space to find out more.

How many trips have you put off because no one could come with you?

Your partner doesn't love the same places you do. Your friends have different budgets, different diaries, or simply different ideas of a good holiday.

So the dream trip stays on the list. Another year goes by.

It's one of the most common things we hear from women before they join Club Avandra. And it's exactly why we started the club.

Club Avandra is for women who want to travel with independence, but without being alone.

✨ Small groups of like-minded women

✨ Your own room, your own space, your own pace

✨ Hosts who open doors you'd never find on your own

✨ New friendships that start over dinner and carry on long after you're home

You don't need to wait for the right person to say yes. You just need to say yes yourself.

What's the trip that's been on your list for far too long?

The first snow is starting to fall in the Alps, and we're already dreaming of March.

'Snow Limits' is our Verbier trip with Julia Kemp, and it's a ski week with a difference.

There's no group to keep up with and no one setting your pace.

You can chase first tracks with a guide who knows the quietest slopes.

You can spend the afternoon in the chalet's spa, with a hammam, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi glowing by firelight.

Or you can curl up with a book and do nothing at all.

Then the evenings bring everyone together: sunset cocktails, a Snow Table dinner unlike anything else on the mountain, and après-ski that runs as late as the company wants.

Julia has thought of every detail, so all you need to do is enjoy it.

Whether you're a confident skier or haven't been on the slopes in years, this is a week built entirely around you.🫶

We'd love you to share what you're dreaming of most. Is it the slopes, spa or fireside? Let us know how you would spend your first afternoon in Verbier.

We head there in March 2027 with a small group of women like you.

Autumn has a way of reminding us how much we've been carrying.

The busy months catch up with you. Sleep isn't quite what it was. Energy dips just when you need it most.

Three nights at Palazzo Fiuggi with Tracey Woodward are designed to change that.

Tracey is the former CEO of Aromatherapy Associates and one of the most respected voices in wellbeing. She knows the difference between a nice spa break and real restoration, and this retreat is firmly the latter.

Your stay begins with a proper health assessment, including an ECG, osteopathy and skin analysis. From there, the days are yours to enjoy:

🌿 The centuries-old thermal waters of the Roman Thermae

🌿 Movement Lab sessions to build strength and ease

🌿 Treatments like the Kobido facial and full thalassotherapy

🌿 Three-Michelin-star Longevity cuisine from chef Heinz Beck, designed around what your body needs

And in the evenings, good conversation with a small group of women who understand exactly why you needed this.

This is three nights to step away from it all, and return feeling restored inside and out.

If you could give yourself one thing this autumn, what would it be: rest, energy or calm?

Link in bio for dates.

Most of us can name the woman who once helped us believe we could do more.💖

Inspiring Girls International exists to make sure the next generation doesn’t leave that to chance.

Founded in 2016 by Miriam González Durántez, the charity has a beautifully simple idea: girls should meet women who do interesting things and hear how they got there.

Ten years on, that idea has reached:

✨ More than 300,000 girls in 40 countries
✨ Nearly 5,000 schools
✨ Close to 7,000 events
✨ More than 28,000 volunteer role models

That’s why Inspiring Girls is one of our charity partners.

Every Club Avandra member chooses a charity to receive part of her membership fee, so every trip, every event and every evening in the Avandra Lounge helps a girl somewhere meet a woman who tells her, “Yes, you can do that, and here’s how.”

This year’s anniversary theme is #ThankYouForTheNo, celebrating the moments when a closed door led somewhere better. Many of us have a story like that, and we often share them on our trips.

👉 All donations to Inspiring Girls are being doubled today, so if you’d like to support a charity we’re proud to stand beside, this is a wonderful week to do it.

Happy tenth birthday, Inspiring Girls. Here’s to the next decade. 🎉

What’s the best “no” you ever received? Share yours in the comments.👇
