I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. I took a leap of faith, made some moves & leveled up.

A few months ago I joined The Herd as Berkner High School’s Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Excited to work towards the ultimate goal with every single team and athlete.

For those that don’t know, Texas 6A athletics is different.

A lot to be Grateful for, all Glory to God!

Recap from year one.

Still hard to believe I get to wake up every morning and do what I love. Running my own program with the support of some great coaches has been amazing.

Watching these athletes put in the work and see success in their sport is why I do what I do. Lots of early mornings, late nights, and weekends, working towards our goals. The sweat, the soreness, the development, the grit.. it’s all part of the game!

Year 2.. it’s up 😈

Late post- the Valenzuela’s take Disneyland! 😁

It was mine and the boys first time & it was magical ✨ blessed me and the family were able to make it happen, especially during the holiday season. 🙏🏾

Amazing experiences & core memories were made!

#MYWHY by @coach_mannyv

Thrown in the fire 6 months ago and there’s already a lot to be proud of.

First playoff win in 18 years 🏆
Most wins in a season in 11 years 📈
Zero non contact injuries 🙏🏾
Stayed healthy, fast, and strong ALL 14 GAMES!!! 😤

Blessed to be a part of an amazing group of young men and women, all Ram athletes, and coaches. It’s only up from here!!

Back in the lab.

Blessed to see another year. Grateful for my circle, my sons, the friends that turned to family & the opportunities I’ve had this past year.

It’s been a journey. Feels like I’ve done so much in the first 30 years, yet I know so little. Still plenty to learn about the game.

Can’t wait to see what God has planned for the next 365..

31 years young 😤
