Parables of Coach Nick 🩷🖤🤍

Another year down, and i still have a lot more in the tank. I don’t get to choose who are in the trenches with me, but I got an army behind me that won’t falter. 0,2,3,4,5,7,11,13,18,23,24,35. Y’all saved me from walking down a path of isolation and darkness. Now i return the favor and continue to be the one that leads you into battle 💛🩵 Uncle Lennox and Lovell, thank you both for being a part of the system that keeps me going, I promise I will always keep going and spread the love that you both spread to those around you, your legacy will continue on with me 🤍🕊️ by @coach_nick2022

I’ve been playing back our last interaction for the past week, you was sleep and I was running late for work and rushing out. Didn’t really get to say much to you, just a quick love you and telling you to call me when you get back home. You texted me, and I was supposed to call you so we could talk basketball, like always 🙂, but I didn’t. You were gone that Friday. I always asked what would have been the outcome if I talked to you more that morning, or if I called you like i was supposed to, or even told you how much you meant to me, would you still be here? I don’t have many regrets, but that will always be with me no matter how much time passes. Despite everything, the arguments, fights, antagonizing, and showing the worst side of me, you never stopped being a big brother to me, to all of us. You loved us and would do anything for us. Now we’re almost coming on 3 years and I still don’t want to believe you’re not here anymore. So many times I want to call you and talk about everything, life, work, coaching, the family, everything, and it hurts every time I pick up my phone and remember I can’t do that anymore. It hurts not knowing what to do and not having you to help guide me. But what hurts more than anything… is not being able to make you proud, your approval meant more to me than anything. And I’d do anything to have that back. You meant so much to our family, and it hasn’t been easy without you, and I just hope you knew how much we love you, I hope you knew how much I love you and what you mean to me. You were more than just my brother, you were my first true friend, you saw something in me when I didn’t, and it saved my life. I hope you knew how grateful I am for that. And I promise you, no matter how hard it gets I’ll always keep going for us, no matter what 🤍🕊️ by @coach_nick2022

Chapter V 🩵💛

To my dawgs, thank you for allowing me to coach you guys. For trusting me and believing in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. While you all drive me absolutely insane (and I know the feeling is mutual🤣) you guys mean the world to me, and if I can go back and do this all over again, I’d want you guys by my side every time. You all became my family and I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t have you guys around me. Thank you for instilling the same lessons and values that Lovell instilled in me. I know if he was here he’d love every one of you guys, and I know you guys would love him.

I can’t wait to see what’s next for us, it’s gonna be one hell of a ride 🩵💛 #Grind #Family #LLL by @coach_nick2022

always wondered what I’d be doing if I wasn’t brought down this path, I guess we’ll never know 🙂 I know this though, if I could go back and do the last 5 years over again, wouldn’t change a single thing 🩷 by @coach_nick2022
