“Your legs aren’t heavy — your angle is wrong 😤
Master the forward lean + shoulder rotation, and your pike press will finally float.”

Most people get pike push-ups wrong 😬

In the first version, you can see the correct technique — moving down and forward, keeping your elbows straight on the negative, and adding a bit of external rotation so you really push with your shoulders.⬇️

In the second version, the elbows bend backward and the movement goes only straight down — this is a super common mistake, especially for beginners.
Using the wrong form doesn’t just affect your pike push-ups — it can also slow down your handstand push-up progress later on.

Focus on that forward angle and shoulder engagement 🔥

Planche leans are probably the best planche exercice if you know how to use it 🧠 ⬇️

-more specific to the full planche

I unlocked my first SAT on my very first try, zero specific practice.🤷🏻

Not luck. Not talent. My front lever base was already strong, and that base is what made it possible.

That’s the real lesson: master each step before rushing to the next one . Build a solid foundation, and the harder skills become so much easier when you get there.✅

Want to build yours the right way?

less range = more reps = more progress 📈✅ ( makes a big difference in the long run )

One of the main reasons you’re stuck in your calisthenics journey… is your obsession with FAST progress.

Everyone wants to reach an elite level as quickly as possible.which is wrong
And look—I’m not saying you should normalise slow progress. You can Always have an optimal progression

but you gotta be realistic and logic about what are u expection from ur body

Most people treat this like a race.
So what do they do?
They add more volume… more sessions… more “extra” work that isn’t even needed , destroying their bodys

And that’s where the problem starts.

You end up overtraining.
You don’t recover properly.
And instead of progressing faster… you actually slow yourself down.

That’s the trap. And it’s frustrating.

You need to learn how to detach from the outcome.
Focus on showing up, being consistent, and training smart.

If you do that—you will progress. No matter what

Less is more.
Stop making this harder than it needs to be.
