Being fast isn’t enough. Athletes have to know how to stop. These clips show our athletes learning how to decelerate, control their bodies, and come to balance — the foundation for cutting, reacting, and staying injury-free. Strong stops = safer movement + better performance. #AthleteDevelopment #SpeedAndAgility #ChangeOfDirection #SportsPerformance by @coachcills

Thinking about peptides? Watch this first. I get it. I heard you too. You want the edge. Everyone Tiktok says BPC-157 or some peptide stack is the secret. Here’s what they don’t tell you: Most of the research is on rats, not people. One human study. 12 patients. It’s banned in sport. Prohibited at all times. New Jersey’s high school banned list names BPC-157 by name. It’s not legal to sell for human use, and about 30% of what’s sold online isn’t even what the label says. And if you’re under 18, there’s zero safety data on what it does to a body that’s still growing. One athlete got a 4-year ban without ever failing a test. Don’t trade your future for a shortcut. The real edge is boring, and it works: sleep 8 to 10 hours, eat real food, train with a plan, and ask before you take anything. Want the edge the right way? Message me. I’ll show you where to start. Parents and coaches: share this with your athlete. by @coachcills
Your athlete’s profile is a starting point, not a prescription. Force-velocity profiling tells me whether an athlete needs more strength, more speed, or neither. The idea is to train each athlete toward their ideal profile. A 2026 meta-analysis put that to the test for jumping. Individualized training did fix the imbalance. But only one group actually jumped higher because of it: athletes who needed more speed. For athletes who needed more strength, or who were already balanced, a solid standard program worked just as well. So I profile every athlete, but I judge the program by one thing: did they get better on the field? Everyone’s pulling sleds. Here’s what the research actually says. Here’s a breakdown of a 2026 review of 12 studies and 324 athletes, one slide at a time. Swipe through. Research: Góngora-Rodríguez and colleagues, Sports, 2026 Sleds are everywhere in speed training right now. But do they actually make athletes faster than regular sprints? A new review pooled the evidence to find out. Short answer: yes, a little. Across 12 studies and 324 athletes, sled sprints beat regular sprints by a small margin. Helpful, not magic. Almost all of the benefit showed up in the first 10 meters, the acceleration phase, when athletes drive forward. At top speed, regular sprinting did about as well. Heavier wasn’t automatically better. And the surface changes the load: the same sled drags harder on a gym floor than on grass or a track. These were trends, not proven differences. Use the sled for short pushes of about 5 to 15 meters. Keep regular sprinting as the foundation. And set the weight by how much it slows each athlete down, not one number for everyone. Every athlete is different, so I test before I train. Want to know where your athlete’s speed comes from? Send me a message with “EVAL.” by @coachcills
