It’s not about the wins and the medals.
Regardless of the outcome, be proud of what you have achieved.
What matters is that you showed up, not just for your team and your family, but most importantly for YOURSELF.

Celebrate the journey and the experience. Celebrate the hard work.

Thank you @derek.murril for letting me be a part of your journey. Thank you for allowing me to post this video. As you said best, it’s important to show the reality which has both the highs and the lows.

Six months ago, Coach Dev launched his own boxing program at North Training Academy.

Last weekend, he reached a milestone that marks the beginning of something much bigger .. his first fighters representing his own fight team stepped into the ring at the 2026 Novice Tournament.

Coach Dev has been in the corner before. He’s worked with fighters, developed athletes, and lived the fight game. But building your own team from the ground up is different.

These fighters represent the first chapter of what he’s building at NTA.

Six months of coaching. Six months of developing. Six months of building a team, a culture, and a vision.

And now, that vision has entered the ring.

This is only the beginning.

Ethan and Francesco represented Patra Boxing x NTA at the Boxing Ontario Novice Tournament @ontarionovicetournament this weekend and fought incredibly hard. They’re both walking away with:

Francesco 🥈
Ethan 🥉

These two put in numerous hours and worked hard the past 3 months to compete in their first fights.

Couldn’t be more proud of them.

We are just getting started.
