📣 OUR FIRST EVER NATIONAL TEAM HEAD COACH 📣

Introducing @coachkatie._ who is our new Women’s National Team Head Coach.

Katie comes in with wealth of experience and will be combining with a role at Pittsburg State.

Her haul of accolades is impressive; TSMAA Coach of the Year, United Soccer Coaches Coach of the Year, USSF ‘C’ Licence, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Licence, and 30 under 30 class member.

And to boot she is pursuing her PhD in Global Sports Leadership and her UEFA C Licence.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Katie volunteering her time to further the development of women’s soccer and heading up the Women’s National Team in upcoming camps and their first international fixture 🫶🇲🇭 by @coachkatie._

About a year and a half ago, I was talking to @strickland8249 about my aspirations in coaching. He told me I should look into an organization called United Soccer Coaches. Wasting no time, I left that conversation and immediately went to Google. At that moment, I completely bought in. Since then, @unitedsoccercoaches has provided me with opportunities to participate in educational courses, attend the convention, and attend the Women’s World Cup. Through these opportunities, I have met some of my greatest mentors and friends. This organization has impacted me in ways I could never convey in words, and is a big reason I am the coach and person I am today.

I am beyond blessed to announce that I was chosen to represent United Soccer Coaches in the 2023-2024 30 Under 30 Class. This program will have a significant impact on me as a person, coach, and leader. I am beyond thrilled to see where this journey will take me & my fellow inductees, and look forward to sharing things with all of you along the way. #UnitedSoccerCoaches #30Under30 by @coachkatie._

This past weekend, I had the special opportunity to coach at the @theplayersnetwork_ pro combine!🌟 This network was created FOR professional players BY professional players. It is truly a safe space for young women to chase their dreams while being protected and supported along the way.

I am so grateful to @samantharosette, @gabbyyycuevas, & @breeezy22_ for letting me be a part of this community. Their passion for the game and care for others does NOT go unnoticed. They are changing the world one player at a time! 🤍 #TPN
