Control your focus, effort and attitude consistently and the results will follow 🏆

Does this happen often in your tennis career? by @coachrafa_tennis

This might be the MOST IMPORTANT lesson about mental health an athlete can learn…

Self-love ❤️

When I was a teenager I was bullied in school because of my height and that created a lot of insecurities in myself.

Deep inside I was struggling with fear, trauma and lack of self-love

The only place I felt happy was inside the court because other people will validate my skills, results and it fulfilled me.

Often people think being vulnerable is a sign of weakness.

Is not. Is actually a sign of strength, and looking for help is actually the best thing to do.

That’s why I share so much about mental health and I am committed to help athletes and teenagers.

I know the difference it could have made if I saw someone I could relate to, someone that can share his/her experience just to know that I was not alone and that there are resources that can help us.

Love yourself. You are unique❤️

Kids learn by copying what you do.

At the red ball stage, the best way to teach is to show it with passion and make it fun.

•Fun

When the coach brings the energy and sets the example, the kids follow it. by @coachrafa_tennis

Cognitive flexibility 🧠

Preseason 2027: Isa building a neutral ball that stays aggressive while the next shot keeps changing.

•Adapting fast and returning to the same standard
•Tactical adaptability to unpredictable patterns
•Focus under disruption
•Backhand quality under cognitive load

In a match, it is crucial that players read and anticipate better the incoming ball. The player who keeps the quality of her neutral ball is the one who stays in control. by @coachrafa_tennis
