This year has been an emotional one for me as there are a lot of “lasts.”

This is the last time I get to coach these two and that’s especially hard when you’ve coached someone for 7 years.

It’s going to be hard not seeing Lex patrol the OF, get a big hit or Hope dealing on the mound and seeing her run the bases but I’m going to miss the little things like seeing Hope’s big smile on the field and Lex cracking herself up at her own jokes more.

I’m proud of the young women these two have become and because of that I know they are going to do big things in the next chapter of their lives.

I love you girls more than anything! I will always be your biggest supporters! @alopez_0021 @_hopekonkler by @coachteters

Not living up to your own expectations of yourself? Constantly battling your negative self talk? Reframe your thinking to it’s not about what you do, it’s about what God can do through you and see those expectations start becoming a reality. by @coachteters

When your faith is in God, it allows you to play with Passion knowing your gift is to honor Him.

It allows you to play with Love for your teammates, your community and yourself.

It allows you to play with Freedom, knowing you aren’t defined by this game and that God has got you regardless of the outcomes or results.

If you do everything to honor God, you’re always a winner.

I love this video because Kennedy doesn’t stop talking the entire time and that’s EXACTLY what she wants in a coach. Constant feedback, constant conversation. by @coachteters
