The first photo is today. (Yes I went to the gym πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸŽ‰) The second is a year ago. I have SLACKED this past year for sure, and it happens. Life is ebs and flows but KNOW THIS I'm coming back for all of this and more in 26'!!πŸ’ͺ🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽 You will find on your journey that sometimes you will have a TON of motivation and be killing every goal you set ahead of yourself and then other seasons just getting up will take all your will power. The key is to remember who you once were whilst learning to love who you are today. Just don't give up, the world needs your light! *I am preaching to myself too 🫢🏽πŸ₯Ή* by @cocofit_2b_well

Remember that post the other day about coming in this box everyday in August. Welp this is again DAY ONE! Life kept me out the first 3 days of the month but on the 4th here I am. Couldn't finish my whole session today because my body wasn't a fan of the heat and just couldn't regulate it. But I AM STILL IN HERE!🫢🏽🀏🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽 JUST START whatever it is just get up and go. Listen to your body and spirit and show up with however much effort you have on that day at that given moment. **Once again I am also preaching this to myself as I type this post**πŸ₯Ή by @cocofit_2b_well
It can be "One day" or "Day one". We ALL have that choice. I have not been to a workout of any kind in longer than I am sometimes willing to admit. But today I said NOPE it's "Day one". This August I am committed to getting in this hot box everyday. Wish me luck. 😘🫢🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽 by @cocofit_2b_well

My daddy would have been 63 years young today. πŸŽ‚πŸ₯³πŸ•ŠοΈ I listened to some of our favorites, of his jazz/r&b songs while doing my cardio today. I try to honor my body by being well and mindful in honor of him. We discussed before his passing, my desire to be in the fitness industry as a professional as well as, being in charge of my own health. As he sometimes felt he was not in control of his most of his life. Daddy, I miss you. So so much. It's been 8 years since Yah said "well done son", and called you home. I hope you can see. I'm keeping my promise to you. Save me a spot. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ«ΆπŸ½πŸ₯Ή by @cocofit_2b_well
It's been a year....β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸŒͺ️🏚️ I want to first say God is real and I thank Him for covering our family on 12/9/2023. Whatever name you need to call Creator for where you are on your journey do so but please know we have a God. He sent His only son Yahweh to pass on for us after living a life living for The Most High in every way he could. That same God protected my family a year ago today from what could have been my family's last moments here in this physical realm. We are here because the Creator says We aren't done πŸ€πŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½ Ecclesiastes 4:12 will forever be engraved in my heart from this day. We have been given better than what we lost this day last year in every way imaginable. Life has been insanely different than what my family and I expected it to be but I am learning that that's the beauty of this life we're living. Let this be a reminder to all who are still reading to LIVE but live for God the one true living God. The protector, the Father, the friend, and the listener. God is All and once you realize He is within you and knowing you will reveal Him, life will change in every way imaginable. My inner work is paying off and in every circumstance I am shown just how much I am growing in Him. πŸ₯Ή Thank you to everyone who has given donations, prayers, positive thoughts, and words of encouragement to me and the boys this past year. Really, at any point in our lives before the storm even, we are so grateful more than this post can convey. This last year we needed it most and we're extremely humbled that it was given in over flow as we navigated back to our home. We have been home and settling back in since October πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸ πŸˆπŸˆ & now a πŸ• lol (IYKYK thanks to Nia 🀣🫣 jkjk) It has been Blissful ✨☺️🫢🏽 Please continue to pray for us as we are still navigating emotions on this 1st anniversary. They are felt and appreciated greatly. We love you all! -Starnes Family πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦πŸˆπŸˆπŸ• by @cocofit_2b_well
"Cori are you proud of where you are in your fitness journey?" Yes the hell I am!πŸ’ͺ🏽🫢🏽 §§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§ I have been maintaining my physique and strength through A LOT of setbacks. I criticize myself often thinking I'm not doing enough through it all. I quite often get upset and say to myself " you USED to be so disciplined. What happened?" Then I remembered to take the πŸ“Έ and I see, I AM STILL THAT GIRL🫑✨ The last 11 months have NOT been easy. But I am still disciplined. I am still going. I am still doing my very best. If that's all you have today is your BEST, keep giving it that. Your situation will CHANGE and you will see that YOU are still YOU through it all. KEEP PUSHING 🫢🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽🫢🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽🫢🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽🫢🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽 P.s. sugar cookie season has begun for us lighter melanated beings 🫠πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜‚ by @cocofit_2b_well
