Hosted by Spotlight Initiative, @risenow.us, the Permanent Missions of Sweden (@swedenun), Uruguay and Viet Nam to the @unitednations.

This week, I had the honour of speaking on not one but two stages at Money20/20 Las Vegas, the main stage and the Rise Up / Amplify stage.

I shared the story of the women of Afghanistan. Women who cannot access banks. Women who are banned from education. Women who are building their futures anyway, one wallet at a time. 🌐💻🌱

Thank you @money20_20 for creating a space where these stories belong. Financial freedom is not a privilege. It is a human right.

Meet Our Motion Animation Graduates! 🎉

These are the final projects from our Motion Animation course, built from idea to script to final animation, using After Effects and specialized plugins and scripts.
Students learned the full process of producing a professional project: turning an idea into visual storytelling, creating original animations, and building portfolio-ready work.

“Today, on World Refugee Day, I think of a little girl sitting on a stone step, not yet knowing that displacement would one day become the seed of her purpose.
That photo is mine. Years before I ever stood at the podium of the United Nations to speak about Afghan women breaking barriers, I was just one of the countless children whose home, safety, and certainty were taken without consent.
Refugees are not defined by what we lost. We are defined by what we choose to build from it. For me, that became Code to Inspire, Afghanistan’s first coding school for women and girls, born from the belief that education is the one thing displacement can never take away.
On this World Refugee Day, I want every displaced girl to know: your story is not over. The doorstep is not the destination.”✨🕊️🦋
