Senior Sunday…but she’s my senior 🥹😭 by @codivphotography

Emma & Cam, Spring in the Garden 💕

It’s impossible to make one post that encompass having worked with someone for years through so many stages of life that shows the entirety of their most magical day. A day filled with endless perfect moments, with all the people they love most, at a stunning venue, with incredible vendors…it’s almost unbearable to have to choose favorites. I could easily swap every one of these images with another and all my favorites still wouldn’t be in here. So today I’ll have to leave you with these - twenty little moments. 💕 And then I’ll have to share at least twenty more because a wedding day, especially this one, is impossible to sum up in one single instagram post.

When they say they have kind of a crazy idea for their engagement session but it’s been on my bucket list to shoot for years 😍

K & J, Held in Time - 2026

_____

This session was everything I love about creating photographs - chasing beautiful light, a setting that feels like it was made for them, and all of the intimate moments.

But photographs have a way of holding far more than we ever realize. We think we’re preserving a dress, a season, or a celebration. Chasing beautiful light in a place that feels just right. And we are, of course. But photographs have a way of holding far more than we ever realize.

Every time I pick up my camera, I’m so very aware that I have no idea what these images will truly come to mean years from now. The photographs that become someone’s most treasured are rarely defined by the light, the location, or the dress. They are shaped by the life that unfolds around them, and the stories no one else will ever know.

When the vision makes it off the mood board and out of the chat ✨

Loved getting to celebrate Taylor in her bridal era - no one else could have made my vision come to life in the way she did. If I could do sessions like this every single day, I would. It’s so hard choosing images when I want to actually just share every single one. So there will be a part two…and maybe three and four and just all in my feed for forever. 😍✨

Thank you for trusting me with this @taywalkhair and making it everything 💕✨

Being this close to love all the time has slowly changed how I see things. It’s shaped how I think about this work, the way I show up for my couples and what I actually believe matters.

Lately, these thoughts keep coming up for me —

Weddings don’t need to be elaborate to be meaningful. The most meaningful weddings are the ones that aren’t performed for anyone. They’re the ones where everyone is intentionally present.

Being a wedding photographer isn’t romantic, it’s a responsibility.

Some things are expensive because they matter. Not only in the moment, but years from now, when time has done what it always does.

Being a photographer isn’t about creating content. It’s not about portfolios or an algorithm. It’s about truly seeing people and telling their story through your art, in an honest way.

Some photos are beautiful because they are styled well. It would be almost impossible for someone to take a bad photo in this moment. Other photos are beautiful because they mean something. The second kind only gets more valuable with time. Aesthetic fades, meaning deepens.

SLOW and intentional > everything else. The most beautiful images are created when you forget the clock exists.

The photos that matter most are almost never the loud or the perfectly curated ones. They’re the quiet in-between seconds that no one planned for.

And maybe, most importantly — It’s not the camera. It’s not the location. It’s not the stunning florals or the dream dress, though we love all that too. It’s you feeling safe enough with someone you trust to experience all of this in the most real and honest way.

Chasing waterfalls with Kennadie & Ben under Iceland’s midnight sun ✨

Photographing love against something this untamed recalibrates me….and I get to witness that shift in them too.

It strips everything back to what matters.
No forced perfection.
No production.
Just two people choosing eachother.

Every time I’m here I slow down. I watch longer. I trust more. It shifts something in me.

And in that moment, it shifts something in them too. 🤍

I can’t even begin to fully process how 2025 unfolded 🥹✨

My heart is so incredibly full. I’m endlessly grateful for your love, your trust, and the memories we created together this year.

I still remember the first time a couple inquired from out of state - being completely mind blown that, out of everyone they could choose, they somehow found me. I remember sending my first proposal for a session out of the country, hovering over “send,” scared of the no… and just as scared of the yes. 🥹 Wild to see where life takes you.

2025 became the year I traveled the most for my work so far. Miles added up, destinations changed - and with every journey came the same quiet honor: being trusted with someone’s story.

Whether it was across the world or right at the beach down the street, the heart of the work stayed the same. Showing up fully. Holding space. Paying attention to what matters. Telling your story with care, intention, and honesty. Noticing.

Thank you for trusting me with your stories. I carry that responsibility with so much care. I am beyond excited for what is already unfolding for 2026! ❤️
