Cody Backpackers:
Feast your eyes upon this taste of the flavours you'll find tantalizing your senses at Cody's.
Where the beer is cold, and the hearts are warm.
Where stunning views and enticing vibes blend together better than your favourite mango smoothie.
Where your body and mind are nurtured with yoga and exercise spaces. With cheeky family dinners and dancing in the rain with your new chosen family. With games and laughs and creativity and music bursting through the rice field paddocks.
Where you'll walk in expecting a bed in a hostel, but will leave feeling like you've just stumbled into a portal of love, connection and fun, and can't believe it's already time to check out.
Come see for yourself.

A little early birthday surprise that meant the world to me. 💖

Another breathtaking sunset, and another day of making new friends. 🌅 Brought our Coders up to catch the golden light today, and the energy was just pure magic. This is what community is all about. So grateful for moments like this! 🙏✨ #Codybackpackers #paithailand #hostellife #classichostel #experiencebackpackers by @codybackpackers

Ever feel overwhelmed trying to "still the mind"? The Mahāsatipaṭṭhāna Sutta reminds us that mindfulness isn't about blanking your thoughts—it’s about observing the full spectrum of your human experience without clinging.

Here are the 4 Satipaṭṭhāna (Foundations of Mindfulness) to anchor your practice:

✨ 1. Kāyānupassanā (Contemplation of the Body)

Ground into your physical vessel. From the rhythm of your breath (ānāpānasati) to the movement of your limbs, your body is your first anchor to the present moment.

✨ 2. Vedanānupassanā (Contemplation of Feelings)

Notice the immediate affective tone of every experience—is it pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral? When we observe feeling tones without judgment, we break the automatic cycle of craving and aversion.

✨ 3. Cittānupassanā (Contemplation of the Mind)

Observe the changing climate of consciousness. Is the mind distracted or calm? Restless or spacious? Simply witness the state of the mind as an impartial observer.

✨ 4. Dhammānupassanā (Contemplation of Mental Qualities)

Examine how your inner world operates through the lens of universal law—watching the 5 Hindrances arise and pass, and cultivating the 7 Factors of Enlightenment.

Practice observing these subjects internally, externally, and watching their natural cycle of arising and passing away.

Which foundation feels most accessible to your practice today? 👇
