What a summer its been. Couldn't be luckier to have the people around me that I do. Cheers to an awesome season, with RRR right around the corner its nice to reflect on what ive been up to and remind myself that we've had some solid days out on the trails, on the mats, in the gym, (shoutout @aoa_strength for helping me) and on the water. Time to have some fun for 20 ish hours this weekend. Wish me luck 🙏 🤠 by @codyyrobinson
Enjoying summer racing and being taught new lessons everyday. Cheers to growth and stuff :) (also broke my phone & got a new phone. I lost ALOT of my fun spring pics from this year so far) by @codyyrobinson
Still alive , winter has been pretty alright :) by @codyyrobinson
V thankful and v grateful to be back to getting out. Anyway, here's a fun shot that @shitinthewoods took at @dcpeaks50 by @codyyrobinson
Feelings from Run Rabbit Run 100mi? Umm. Grateful, still super grateful for my body to get me through something like this. But at the same time, bummed- I left a lot on the table. This was my second hundo, and I really thought I had it mostly sorted out. I had nutrition locked in. I had done the long days back to back, put in the time required, and felt as fit as possible for where I am. I felt mostly overconfident about hitting a 21 hour finish, it wasn't crazy to think I could come in around 20:45 😅 but I gave myself the allowance of " well its a hundred miles I guess anything can happen." It felt pretty dang surreal to be on the start line with that much talent, but I decided to hang back and let the day unfold. Felt really great til I didn't ( maybe mile 60 or so). I felt a slight calf strain, and it progressively got worse til I was reduced to a walk around 10 miles later. So anyways. Haha, I was able to put together some running in those final miles, but boi, am I paying for it now. Finished in 24:03 just outside that illusive sub 24. I'll get it on the next one. Thanks to my biggest supporter and best friend, @utkenz , I really appreciate everything you do and have done for me. Especially at these ridiculous races. 😅🫶 by @codyyrobinson

8 years later, and I'm still so into you ❤️ by @codyyrobinson
Well, well, well! Race 1 of the 2024 season is in the books 🌊 . Miwok 100k was a great reminder of hard work paying off. We flew out to San Francisco, had a nice drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, and got to stay in beautiful Mill Valley. The weather for race day was less than ideal (rain storms, wind gusts up to 50mph on the ridges, and 45 ° temps made things a little difficult), but hard work and perseverance pay the bills. I ended up in 10th place, OA in a time of 10'57" ( a 3.5 hour PR!) I learned alot, took some huge positives from this race, and on the flip side there was a bit of feeling sorry for myself and a good reminder of what the pain cave looked like. Safe to say, it's only fueled the fire for racing this season! Let's go! by @codyyrobinson
