Comment “10” and I’ll send you the most useful video you’ll ever watch 😃

Who makes more money?

Surprise! It’s the person that other people actually know exists! 💀

Your amazing work doesn’t mean shit if no one sees it.

So stop sitting in Lightroom, and start investing into learning the skill of short form content…

Or remain unrecognized and get left behind. by @colin.m.photo

Comment “ZEKE” and I’ll send you the full breakdown.

Zeke went from 366 to 10,000 followers in just 19 days.

He didn’t suddenly become a better photographer.

The biggest changes were in the formatting of his videos: stronger hooks, longer buildups, better timing, and delaying the final reveal so viewers had a reason to keep watching.

Those small details can completely change how a video performs.

Your success as an artist isn’t determined by your skill alone. You also need to know how to package your work, hold attention, and make people care enough to follow by @colin.m.photo

I posted my photos for a full year and a half and never got above 100 FOLLOWERS.

Then I started taking SHORT-FORM CONTENT seriously.

In the last year I went from 99 FOLLOWERS to 15.6K FOLLOWERS on Instagram, and 0 to 40K SUBSCRIBERS on YouTube.

And it was not because my photos suddenly got that much better.

It was because I began taking short form content seriously, and learned how to turn my work into videos that could actually reach people.

If you are a photographer creating great work, but you are not taking short-form content seriously, no one is EVER going to find you.

Zeke, a photographer and student of mine, was having this exact same problem when he came to me.

With the content strategies I discuss daily on my instagram, we were able to take him from 366 FOLLOWERS to 10,000 FOLLOWERS in just 19 DAYS.

His videos went from 1–2K VIEWS to HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS and even MILLIONS by implementing simple yet necessary changes to his content.

And I documented every step of the way, and shared it all with you guys on YouTube.

Progress like this is only rare because most photographers lack the knowledge.

Why don’t your viewers become followers?

Well, because the value you’re providing is either weak, or not specific to you. by @colin.m.photo

You’re a victim.

A victim of social media standards and achievements that never fail to hide the real grind behind this success

The reason most fail is not because they’re “not talented enough”, it’s because they quit before it all pays off. Generic I know, but it’s true.

Social media is a long term game. But it’s also a game of conscious effort, and it’s a game that you can and should “cheat” in to get ahead

You “cheat” by learning faster than others, and you learn faster than others by posting more than them. By creating more conscious theories than them. By implementing, testing, and determining the value of these theories quicker than them.

Speed + long term consistency = limitless potential.

If you’re in a hole right now, I promise you it’s temporary. I’ve been there, and the only thing I knew was NOT the answer when I was there was giving up

You ruined your own day

Stop complaining about the external, and work to control the internal. by @colin.m.photo

The unspoken truth of social media…

Posting short form content around my photography work has changed my life, and it can change yours too…

But only if you accept that the skill of short form content is completly separate from that of photography

If you want to be GREAT at content, you have to invest the same amount of time, money, or both into learning this skill just like you did with photography or videography

Treat content like a fun hobby, and that’s all it’ll ever be. But treat it like it has the potential to change your life, and it will.

If you don’t know what you’re doing wrong or have no idea how to go about your own social media growth, message me “Content” and I’ll get you pointed in the right direction 🤝 by @colin.m.photo

Getting good at content will change your life.

Literally infinite possibilities to monetize and build a community, and it’s all centered around your ability to retain attention on the right types of content.

Need help? Message me “start” and I’ll help you diagnose your own content and send you in the right direction 🤝

I say this, you know it’s true, and yet 99% of you will keep scrolling without ever stopping to apply it. by @colin.m.photo

Are reels needed to build a social media following?

Well technically no…

But if you don’t want to wait 6 years then I’d highly recommend learning it 😂 by @colin.m.photo

The person behind the camera is what closes deal 90% of the time, not just the camera or the photos themselves.

Comment “transform” and I’ll send you the full breakdown on how I turned 1 pov recording into over 15M views across platforms by structuring my video around a high retention framework.
