Here’s a little poem for Bonfire Night - across two slides - by Penge artist-in-residence and increasingly prolific rubbish poet Cosmo Chancer…

If you like this sort of thing - and, frankly, why wouldn’t you? - you can buy Cosmo’s latest poetry collection, A Year in Penge, for just £3 at colossive.com 🔥

Just a reminder of where you can find us on Saturday.

Not just us, mind. There’ll be lots of other lovely #bookarts and zine-tastic (yeah, that’s definitely a word) people, too…

See you there!

Pssst… We’ve just popped a few hardback copies of Tom’s Colossive Cartography up for sale on the site.

It’s a lovely cloth-bound interpretation of French Symbolist poet Paul Verlaine’s An Exchange of Feelings, all lovingly* made with Tom’s fair sausage fingers - and it’s yours for just £8 at colossive.com.

*I say ‘lovingly’. He tends to swear a lot when he’s making them. But they always turn our lovely in the end...

*Interlude!* It’s been a bit of a trying week, what with one thing and another (mainly ‘one thing’) so we were very glad to get out for a nice long walk before watching Palace play/lose away at Spurs yesterday evening.*

Seeing as we had to head up that way anyway, we did *almost* the first two sections of the Lea Valley Walk - with our own version starting from the Beano mural at Waltham Cross and finishing up at Tottenham’s stadium. It was especially nice to see some donkeys. [Insert your own football-related joke here.]

*Disappointing game. 😔 Surprisingly nice tofu burgers. 🍔

Next stop: Walthamstow!

We’ll be travelling the entire length of the Victoria line with our wheelie case of books and zines in a couple of weeks’ time…

See you all there! (At the fair, we mean. Not necessarily on the tube.)

PS If you can’t find a tangerine, a kumquat will suffice - although you’ll have to stand even closer… 🎃🍊👍

A (slightly belated) Colossive THANK YOU to the superstars behind last weekend’s @winchcomics and @thatgoblinmarket. Both events were an absolute triumph, all thanks to the tireless efforts of the organisers and volunteers.

Here are a couple of pics of Chief Goblins @thegreatescapist and @ambush_mo_morrell, alongside their goblin king, telling everyone to bugger off home after Sunday’s fair.

Annoyingly, we neglected to take a snap of Winchester head honchos @pyjamacardinal and @timothybird on Saturday - but no matter! There’s a very nice picture of them with a review of the event in this week’s @hampshirechronicle. Take a look at the @winchcomics feed for more details...

After a VERY busy weekend, we took the day off yesterday to tick off two more sections of the #CapitalRing: Highgate to Stoke Newington then Stoke Newington to Hackney Wick.

Highlights included a vintage piece by Banksy and a floating (just about) collaboration between @phlegm_art and @thesweettoof. We also stopped off at the always-worth-a-visit @abneybooks to catch up with bookseller Nathan and Bo-the-cat. Naturally, we left with a big pile of books...

We’re all set up @winchcomics @thenutshellwinchester - upstairs alongside small-press superstar/four-times Colossive Cartographer @thesoundprojector, who kindly took time out from setting up his table to pose for the second pic.

We’re here until 4 - or possibly 4.30 - but either way, you should get here soon and buy loads of comics and zines…
