POSTS STORIES REELS

This has been another brutal year for rabbit rescues everywhere, and Columbus HRS is no exception.

Volunteers and Donors like you play a vital role to keep us going.

Like last year, 2024 has brought us a record number of strays, challenging medical cases, and heartbreaking losses. We’ve also celebrated successful adoptions, provided outreach and coaching, and offered support to rabbit owners needing assistance.
Your generous gift will help provide essential vet care, food & hay, and housing supplies for our foster rabbits, and supports our outreach and education efforts, allowing our work to continue.

If you’d like to contribute in other ways, we always need volunteers to help keep our work moving forward. For those who like sharing knowledge, our outreach programs or help line might be a good fit. For those more comfortable behind the scenes, we have administrative opportunities. And if you’d prefer to be more hands-on with our foster bunnies, we have a number of ways to help: fostering, assisting with adoption appointments, transportation to/from vet appointments, medical home-care, etc.
Please message us for more information on volunteering.

Rabbit rescue takes a village.

Please consider supporting us on this Giving Tuesday.

Easter PSA!
Reminder that rabbits are NOT disposable toys, and should NOT be given impulsively as gifts, no matter how well-intended.

#FosterFriday with Eve.
She’s a good girl, really she is.
Not sure why this cushion offended her. She loves sleeping on the kitchen chairs and has never messed with them before.
Somehow I don’t even care about the cushion. She’s happy and that’s all the matters. ❤️😊 by @columbushrs

Who wants to buy fruit from Nadia's stand on this #fosterfriday ? Meadow loops are the only currency accepted. 🍎🍌🍓🍅 #nadiaandnovella #fosterbunny #rescuebunniesofinstagram #columbushouserabbitsociety by @columbushrs

Looking for a PARTY???
Meet the COCKTAIL BABIES!
Clockwise from top left:
Martini (F) | Bellini (F) | Manhattan (M) | Bacardi (M) | Cosmopolitan (F) | Barton Bourbon (M)
This crew was rescued from a large dump site when they were just weeks old. They’re growing up and are preparing for their debut. Born to a stray/feral momma, these babies are still learning to trust people.
They would each benefit from a patient home and one-on-one socialization.

COMING SOOOOOOON!!
Drew (white) and Bunnerscotch (white/tan spots) were neutered this week. Once they recover, they will be eligible for adoption appointments!
These two boys are young and playful, already have good litter habits, and are curious and friendly.
Stay tuned!!!
