my little greek mythology obsessed inner-child was having the time of her life walking through galleria borghese 🥹

still super thankful to have friends like @lottethearis and @skellizo for listening to me infodumping them in more excessive detail than an audio-guide ever could :,) 🤍

⚜️ The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo ⚜️

only two pictures because teeeeeechnically you’re not allowed to photograph in the sistine chapel, but in my defense, everyone was taking pictures way more obviously than me 🙂‍↕️

seeing this iconic piece of art in real life still feels like a dream. that’s one more down on the list!! 🤍

still can’t believe i got my first tattoo in rome! 🪷

i knew that i wanted a lotus tattoo for about a year now, but getting it last week was a actually pretty spontaneous decision - i’m so unbelievably happy with how it all played out though 🤍

these past few months in italy have already been such a special and enriching experience
i can feel how much i’ve grown as a person through both finding my way alone and then continuing on this journey with my friends

the meaning of the lotus has appealed to me before, but here i feel even more connected to it

i am so grateful for what i’ve already been able to live through, and so so so exited for what is still to come!!
