Since launching the Comfort Bears program in 2021, we have now delivered 15,185 Comfort Bears to children facing difficult days in hospitals, emergency departments, victim services programs, and community organizations. Every bear represents a moment of comfort, compassion, and community support—and this milestone would not have been possible without our incredible donors, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and supporters. But we're not stopping here... To celebrate reaching 15,000+ bears delivered, we have some exciting announcements, giveaways, special features, and a few surprises planned over the coming days and weeks. What an unbelievable way to wrap our 2026 season! A massive thank you to everyone who showed up, brought the energy, and gave back. Thanks to this amazing community, we raised $1,000 dollars for @comfortbearsont Cars bringing good people together for a great cause will always be what we stand for. Looking across the lot and seeing the sheer variety of machinery and passion in one place was something truly special. We had everything rolling through, from vintage Japanese classics and American muscle to German precision with Porsche, BMW, and Audi, alongside breathtaking exotic entries from Aston Martin, McLaren, and Lamborghini. Whether you arrived in a track built coupe, a classic cruiser, or your prized weekend sports car, every single build added to the atmosphere. More than the hardware, it is the individuals behind the wheels who make Niagara Motor Enthusiasts what it is. @foundationsmontessori has always made connecting with the Ancaster community a big part of teaching the children. The students will be helping co-create kids' activities for Fieldcote Museum @hamilton_civicmuseums. Students regularly create fundraising ideas for local organizations and get the satisfaction of giving the proceeds to @ancastercommunityservices and @comfortbearsont among many others. The school is also actively reaching out to the local business community for mentorship opportunities for the Grade 7 & 8 class. What a great foundation to the education of these young students to learn the importance and benefits of participating in your local community! by @comfortbearsont

These Hug A Bears were created from sentimental clothing in a patchwork design and personalized with their loved one’s own handwriting. I just LOVE how they turned out! And the best part about Hug A Bears is that for every one purchased, a Comfort Bear gets donated to a child facing terminal illness or trauma. That means FOUR Comfort Bears will be placed into the arms of kids that need the comfort only a Bear Hug provides. 🤎🩵 That’s my favourite part of making these. Knowing that what I’m creating here in my sewing room makes such an impact on the kids in our community.
