Storytelling Photography for Joyful Celebrations
Serving Couples from Virginia to California ☀️
and everywhere in between ✈️ | @thedaveyduo

POSTS STORIES REELS

More than the beautiful photos, we are about capturing life’s most joyful moments.

The belly laughs. The happy tears. The people you love most. The moments you planned for months and the ones you never saw coming.

The big milestones and all the beautiful chaos in between.

Because someday, these won’t just be photos. They’ll be the moments you get to come back to.

Life, Completely Captured. 🤍 by @completelycaptured

Hey Friends!🤍 With so many new faces around here lately, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Elizabeth, the owner and photographer behind Completely Captured, and for the past 9 years I’ve had the privilege of documenting love stories and preserving memories my couples will cherish for a lifetime.

This month also marks one year since I moved to Virginia! While California will always have my heart, I’ve fallen in love with everything Richmond has to offer. I still happily travel wherever your love story takes me.

I’m also proud to be a co-founder of @wipa_richmond , where wedding professionals come together to connect, collaborate, and support one another.

I also get to share this crazy, wonderful industry with my husband, Matthew, @thebowtieddj . He’s the owner of @completelycelebrated , and getting to celebrate our couples together makes wedding days even more special.

My goal isn’t just to take beautiful photos, it’s to create an experience where you can be fully present while I document your story as it naturally unfolds. The best moments happen when you’re simply enjoying the people you love, and those are the memories you’ll hold onto for years to come.

A few fun facts about me:
🐶 Dog mom x3
📚 Psychological thriller lover
☕ Fueled by coffee and Gilmore Girls reruns
✨ Proud Star Wars & Disney nerd
🍝 Pasta is my love language
🎃 Spooky season girly

Whether you’re getting married here in Virginia or planning a destination celebration, I’d love to tell your story and be part of one of the best days of your life.

If you’re new here, I’d love to get to know you! Tell me one fun fact about yourself in the comments. We might have more in common than you think. 🤍 by @completelycaptured

Your photos start with the timeline✨—>

Lighting.
Pacing.
Space.

Rushed timelines feel rushed.
Candid moments require room to unfold.
Light is scheduled — not accidental.

If you want images that feel natural, emotional, and unhurried, the planning phase matters just as much as the photography itself.

Great photos aren’t chased.
They’re built into the day.

Save this for planning. by @completelycaptured
