Italian style met Italian horsepower at Monterey Car Week. 🇮🇹🏎️

Franco Masoma Napoli was honored to host the FOG RALLY Fashion Lounge at the 41st @concorsoitaliano, bringing together two expressions of Italian craftsmanship: exceptional menswear and extraordinary automobiles.

At the epicenter of the concourse, we welcomed the Ferrari owners and friends of @fogrally_focf into our VIP Cabana for an afternoon of fashion, conversation, caviar from @therealtsarnicoulai, and champagne from @winstonchampagnebar—all surrounded by one of the world’s great celebrations of Italian automotive culture.

For Franco Masoma Napoli, the partnership is a natural one. The same principles we value in Neapolitan tailoring—craftsmanship, proportion, individuality, and an appreciation for beautiful things made exceptionally well—are equally at home among the Ferraris of FOG RALLY.

Our partnership continues September 24th at the FOG RALLY Gala Fundraiser at @fairmontsanfrancisco, where Franco Masoma Napoli will join @fogrally_focf, @therealtsarnicoulai, and an extraordinary community of sponsors and supporters to help raise funds for @makeawishsf and Bay Area children’s organizations through the FOCF Fund for Kids.

Special thanks to @concorsoitaliano for welcoming us; to @fogrally_focf, and @therealtsarnicoulai for helping make our Monterey Car Week debut one to remember; and to @matthewmtford of @heliumultra.luxury for producing the event and bringing the entire experience together. by @concorsoitaliano

From Concorso Italiano to the Monterey Motorsports Festival, dozens of iconic Spiders came together to celebrate six decades of the Alfa Romeo Duetto, an unmistakable Pininfarina icon.

On August 15, Duetto Day brought together Alfa Romeo Spider enthusiasts and collectors across the Monterey Peninsula to celebrate 60 years of the iconic roadster.

Six decades after its debut in 1966, the Duetto continues to captivate with its elegant proportions, unmistakable silhouette and enduring influence on automotive culture.

A celebration of an icon that continues to inspire generations.

The next generation was out on the show field at Concorso Italiano. 🇮🇹🏁

10 Piston Scholars joined us onsite, getting a firsthand look at the collector car world while putting their knowledge to work as judges. They also presented the Piston Foundation’s Next Generation Award to a car they felt represented the future of the hobby.

For us, this is what it’s all about: giving aspiring technicians opportunities to get out of the classroom, build connections, and see where a career in collector cars can take them.

A huge thank you to @concorsoitaliano and @dupontregistry for helping make this experience possible and for supporting the next generation of the collector car industry.

Italy didn’t cross the Atlantic once. It crosses it every August.

Concorso Italiano has been doing this for 41 years. One lawn in Seaside, California. Monterey Bay in the background. And in between, every marque that ever made Italy the most emotionally charged country in the history of the automobile. Ferrari. Lamborghini. Alfa. Maserati. Lancia. Bizzarrini. Not as museum pieces. As living, breathing expressions of a culture that has never once apologised for caring too much.

This is what Italian car culture looks like when it finds a home away from home. Owners who drove through the night to be here. Families who have been coming for decades. Young enthusiasts standing in front of machines they grew up dreaming about, finally close enough to touch. No velvet rope. No glass case. Just the grass and the cars and the particular electricity of being surrounded by people who feel exactly what you feel.

Italy is a place. But it is also a feeling. And every August, Monterey holds it for a day.

41 years. Same lawn. Same passion. Same proof that some things transcend geography.

Our 1st year coming to @concorsoitaliano thank you so much for having us over!!!🏎️🔥🏁 Totally different experience from all kinds of car brands food & people🏎️🔥🏁 by @concorsoitaliano

A golf course in Seaside, California. The Pacific behind it. And as far as you can see in every direction, Italy.

Ferraris. Lamborghinis. Alfa Romeos. Maseratis. Lancias. Every marque that ever made the world stop and stare, gathered on the same grass under the same grey California sky. Not a motor show. Not a concours in the traditional sense. A pilgrimage. The kind that only makes sense if you already understand why Italian cars are different and cannot quite explain it to anyone who does not.

The people who come here did not need to be convinced. They just needed a reason to be in the same place at the same time with everyone else who feels the same thing about the same country.

41 years of this. August in Monterey. The most Italian Saturday California has to offer.

Nothing else comes close.

One of just 10.

Coming to Concorso Italiano: the 2018 Dallara Stradale Signature Edition, #7 of the first 10 produced, presented by Giampaolo Service Inc. of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Each Signature Edition features a dedicated serial number plate and the personal signature of legendary Italian engineer Giampaolo Dallara.

With 400 hp, a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine, and an astonishing 855 kg (1,885 lb) dry weight, the Stradale brings Dallara’s motorsport engineering philosophy to the road. Its modular open-top design can be configured as a barchetta, targa, or coupé.

An exceptionally rare piece of Italian engineering. See it August 15 at Concorso Italiano.
