“Let it happen”

Choreographed by: Amelie Giusta
Danced by: Norey Lau, Shelby Nilsen, and Amelie Giusta
Projection design by: Julianna Heft

Let It Happen is a return to the joy of dancing. Inspired by the simple, undeniable feeling of moving with friends and doing something you love, the work celebrates the aliveness that dance can awaken within us. Rooted in jazz, rhythm, play, and connection, the movement becomes a way of remembering, reconnecting, and celebrating being here. Through this shared experience, Let It Happen celebrates dance as something that can bring us back to ourselves, to our joy, our energy, and the simple feeling of being alive. It asks: What happens when we stop trying to control the moment and simply let our souls move?
