About to make some plaster tile molds from these, but wanted to get some tests out first to take a look. It was a good time carving these up. Maybe I'll go ahead and print them, too. #lovewhatyoudo #artistsoninstagram #artoftheday #handmade #ceramics by @connected_earth_clay_works
Deer Man (Gra Zing) The second House Spirit I have made to be brought to Made In Tucson. #ceramics #artistsoninstagram #lovewhatyoudo #handmade #artoftheday by @connected_earth_clay_works
Small Aviary mugs are moving across my work table, carved into flight. These compact gems will be offerings at upcoming holiday markets. I will post their progression. This year my work is moving back into fauna. #lovewhatyoudo #artistsoninstagram #smallbusiness #handmade #ceramics by @connected_earth_clay_works
House Spirits - I'm letting myself go back to sculpture and will be offering up small wall hangings at the holiday market this year. See you at Made In Tucson! #lovewhatyoudo #artistsoninstagram #oneofakind #ceramics #artoftheday by @connected_earth_clay_works
Wild clay jar with engobes - greenware I harvested the clay from the desert myself and processed it. Nothing has been added, only large rocks and sand removed. This is another piece that will be fired in a kiln full of jars made with healers, cunning people, and herbalist in mind. #pottery #artistsoninstagram #oneofakind #ceramics #handmade by @connected_earth_clay_works
This wild clay jar is the first I have prepared for this series of ceremonial pieces dedicated to the healers, cunning people, and herbalist. There are colors in the inscribed lines that will come out with the firing. Let the wild be the holder of the wild. We have work to do. I am really enjoying this. #herbalist #lovewhatyoudo #artistsoninstagram #wildclay #pottery by @connected_earth_clay_works
The wild clay I dug from the aluvial field of the Rincons years ago (years ago?!...wow... time flies.) Slip inlay. This is just the beginning. More to come. #ceramics #artistsoninstagram #handmade #pottery #clay by @connected_earth_clay_works
Barrel Cactus Flower Colored pencil on black Cactus flowers are my favorite flowers. They will never allow for a vase. They hold their place on their plant to do their job and absolutely stun in their beauty. They are fiercely wild. #artoftheday #drawing #cactusbloom #artofinstagram #succulents by @connected_earth_clay_works
I. Love. Drawing. Period. Also, I've been working on some lino prints at the encouragement of friend Lisa of @happilybecoming . Supper excited to be getting more of my 2D work out there with the ceramics this year in the markets! #lovewhatyoudo #artistsoninstagram #artoftheday #drawing #draw by @connected_earth_clay_works
