Great week for great things!

Lots of fun at states, the korn ferry, and hoco with the best by @connormcginnis_golf

A lot of fun this month.

Played in a lot of events with a bunch of things to look back on from each event.

Got a lot to work on in the next coming months! by @connormcginnis_golf

Lots of work these last two months.

Finished well and shot well in June and July.

Lots of new experience made and mistakes made to reflect on. Had lots of fun in each event meeting and playing with a lot of great golfers. Continuing to grow on my golf game and get better.

Ready to shoot low in the upcoming events and highschool golf.

Thanks to all the great people that held these events

Fun course! FRONT is MUCH HARDER than back

Vids from practice and tournaments and scores for April and May, played Keswick for U.S Open qualifier, and Pete Dye River Course for Drip Golf

Played very solid at Keswick for the event and distance, lots of help from Alex Deas from Bridgewater!

Was hitting cuts that were only going 280 that day so it was tuff having 200 in on par 4s. Made a lot of up and downs and so many 5 footers it’s sick.

Pete Dye was definitely easier with the distance, but way more brutal with the 40mph winds.

Lots of fun especially playing in the qualifier to have the chance to play with people of that skill.

Definitely am ready for the next set of tournaments to come my way! by @connormcginnis_golf

Great day for 9 holes ⛳️ by @connormcginnis_golf

Had lots of fun playing the River course this weekend, pay not have shot my best or placed well, but it was such a fun a challenging course to play. Really got the Pete Dye experience second day with 40mph gust!

First and only tournament in April, shot a 80 on first day and 86 second day. Started on hole ten both days.

Day one, i started off rocky with a 41, then coming back with a 39. Wind on front nine caused me a few strokes because I would either hit a low one into wind and roll off, or I would fly a ball at pin but ball would get stolen by wind to off green. Chipping was really bad first day, but putting put the round back together, same with driver.

Second day was definitely much harder, with winds up at 20 mph and close to 40 mph gust. Couldn’t hold a green at all, losing some balls from crappy kicks off the green. Had a few bad chips, but chipping and putting definitely saved a lot of strokes, same with driver.

Overall game this weekend was alright. Swing felt really good and consistent same with putting stroke, just hard to feel greens, kept a good tempo with all of it. Didn’t miss hit a ball, but one or two times which caused me more strokes compared to wind, just chipped pretty bad. Driver was very good all weekend, being able to shot shapes depending and control every shot. by @connormcginnis_golf

FORE!!! 😂 Got a little closer to the green than had expected. Played Barefoot since I forgot my golf shoes!

Put together a solid round at Birdwood earlier this week. Entire course was very pure, ruff wasn’t as long nor were the greens lightning making it a much easier than normally by @connormcginnis_golf

Tournaments and shots from March, started off bad for beginning of season. Definitely tried hitting some shots that I shouldn’t have hit, making lots of mistakes. Got April to shoot some low ones!

Placed 13th out of 16th at Viniterra. Viniterra was really hard and tested my mental and physical game. Took my experience of that to work on shollowing out the club better, hitting low balls, and hitting bump and runs. Hit good drives tho!

Placed 46th of 73 at Independence. First day at Independence was good, but then couldn’t make putts and judge the speed of the greens, three putting and bunch; as well as, lipping a ton. Also didn’t hydrate enough loosing focus second day. Everything was pretty solid tho, driver could have seen better days; kept on flying greens on second day putting me in a tuff spot.

Placed 15th out of 20 at DogWood Trace. DogWood trace, could’ve shot much better but got food poisoning day before causing me to withdrawal after 4 holes at Mill Quarter day before. Played decent on back front nine, but then my stomach and head started killing me on the back. Hit good drives tho, and zero three putts. Had some very unlucky bounces after a good shot.

Lots of tough conditions with these events, with the wind and pin placements. Coming into April ready to shoot low!
