For me, good food doesn’t need to be overcomplicated. It starts with great ingredients, a clear idea, and attention to detail. But it’s all about people coming together and enjoying special moments. #edcooke #privatechefuk #privatedining #hospitalityconsultant #menudevelopment by @cooke_ed
This project at Muchenje Safari Lodge in Botswana has been a chance to reconnect with what really matters: ingredients, people, and place. Beginning to build relationships with local farmers and building menus around local produce has helped shape a food offering that feels both refined and deeply connected to its surroundings. Being involved in initiatives supporting local schools and employment has made the experience even more rewarding. It’s about creating something refined, without losing its sense of origin. #edcooke #privatechefuk #hiddengem #hospitalityconsultant #menudevelopment by @cooke_ed

It’s the best place to see what I’ve been working on, and the most direct way to get in touch - whether that’s private dining, consultancy, menu development, kitchen operations, or guest experience design. After working in some of the world’s most demanding kitchens, I took some time to step back and refocus. Since then, I’ve been working on a few exciting projects including private dining and consultancy in the U.K. and abroad. Here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to lately. More to come on my website, coming soon… #edcooke #privatechefuk #hiddengem #hospitalityconsultant #menudevelopment by @cooke_ed
