Calisthenics over Climbing lately 😅 by @cookiebreadstache

I wanna be a comp kid 😅

Listen to Bella and Laura 🙃 while I attempt this exercise

aren’t they adorable?! ☺️

You guys better watch out for Bella! She’s maybe 8 or 9 y/o 🤷🏻‍♀️ but she’s a feisty one 💪🏼😤 I bet she’ll be crushing our projects at @dogpatchboulders 😉

Welp.. First time trying assisted one arm pull up. I think I did Oookay 😬

I’m trying to pull in.. or rotate inwards 🤷🏻‍♀️

Any tips?

Did 2 sets of 3 reps of one arm negatives and 2 sets of 2 assisted negatives after too. by @cookiebreadstache

NEW PR for WEIGHTED CHIN UP! 85 LBS ✊🏼🙂‍↕️

This was a good excuse to use the 5lbs kettlebell 😅 @arete_theory

Can you even pull this? 🤷🏻‍♀️ by @cookiebreadstache

Chasing Higher Grade 🧗🏻

My personal climbing goal for this Red Rock trip is to at least try to stick the start move on a V10 climb. Literally just that 😅 tbh, I’m really happy 🙃 I exceeded my expectations ✊🏼🙂‍↕️💕 and figured out the rest of the moves ✊🏼😝

Next goal (in the spring) is to link up the (crux) second and third moves to send this problem 👀

will this be my first V10? 👀

I don’t know if I’m doing this right 😅

Correct me if I’m wrong 🙃

I’ve been doing pull ups on a bar or rings with added weights (current: 35lbs kettlebells, pr: 80lbs)

I thought about using this machine to test a one arm pull. second sesh but with a heavier load (30+ over my body weight).

I think I need to latch on something to stay on the ground wahehe 😛

Does this mean I can do a one arm pull up? 🤞🏼👀

Yknow.. I’m just proud of myself. always learning and trying harder. sometimes I feel like cancer gave me superpowers 🦸🏻‍♀️ because damn! i’m in my 30s and I never felt stronger 💪🏼😤

Single Cable New PR: 150 lbs ✊🏼🙂‍↕️ (actual weight: 75lbs) by @cookiebreadstache

Yay!
I got my second V9 ✊🏼🥰 I don’t have to beta code this with my eyes closed before bed time 😂 wahahaha

Tried so many betas… which one worked? by @cookiebreadstache

What’s the whole point of this?

For me, it’s not just about climbing.. it’s about:

1. Fist bump 👊🏼 a simple gesture… that comforts you when you fail… that motivates you.. that celebrates you.

2. Making time for each other. 3. and, spending it filled with fun and laughter.

4. Lots of hugs 🥰

5. Meeting new people 6. and, catching up with the old ones 🤗

7. Sharing the same passion for climbing despite all our differences

It’s all the small and big things 🥰
