Ube Basque Cheesecake. I love the combination of Filipino and Spanish flavors in this cheesecake. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness and richness. And it’s very pretty to look at too 😍 Grab the recipe in bio. #basqueburntcheesecake #ube by @cooking__therapy

Ube Cinnamon Rolls. I’ve been having a lot of fun working with dough recently and learning how it works. How it feels when it’s good. How it feels when it’s bad and knowing what it needs. It’s been a fun couple of weeks! And I think all that work has led me to the best batch of cinnamon rolls I’ve ever made. Ube continues to be one of my favorite ingredients of the year. The color and pistachio/vanilla flavor are just everything! Grab the recipe for these in bio. #ube #cinnamonrolls #fallrecipes by @cooking__therapy

Bun Rieu or Vietnamese Crab Noodle Soup. I feel like Bun Rieu deserves to be as popular as pho because of how good it is! Vermicelli noodles served in a pork broth with crab and tomatoes. I like to keep it simple with the toppings but I’ve had it with fried tofu, Cha lua, shredded cabbage, and bean sprouts too! When I was making this pot of soup though, I forgot to add the tomatoes so I just added them at the end 😂. Soup is so forgiving it sort of doesn’t matter! Grab the recipe on the blog by searching for “bun rieu”. by @cooking__therapy

Air Fryer Crispy Pork Belly. This recipe is a deeply personal one for me. One of my favorite memories growing up was going to this Cantonese BBQ restaurant in the San Fernando Valley named Sam Woo (iykyk). It was always packed but we came so much the owner and waiters started to recognize us, so the wait wasn’t always that bad 😅 I would always get either the crispy pork belly or char siu. They make the best bbq meats. Nowadays I don’t get to come here as often, so when I started cooking and writing this blog, I knew I wanted to have my own version of both these dishes. This week I’m FINALLY posting my version of crispy pork belly. This recipe took over a year to perfect and gives you all the tips you need to get that crackly skin which is the most challenging part! Making mooncakes has been a journey. From the 8 hours it took me to make my first batch to the delicate taro ones from this year, it’s something I’ve come to enjoy. I’ve made so many desserts through the years but nothing is quite like these little pastries. They’re so beautiful. Get all my mooncake recipes with the link in bio! Taro Mooncakes. It’s mooncake season which means I get to make some of my favorite pastries. This year’s new flavor is inspired by my husband who loves taro. These mooncakes have a classic mooncake crust with a smooth velvety taro paste filling. They’re so good and not too sweet! I also had the opportunity to test out my new mooncake molds! Aren’t they pretty?! Recipe in bio! #mooncakes #midautumnfestival2026 #taro by @cooking__therapy

Ube Coffee Neapolitan Shortbread Cookies. Last year my mom told me I should write an Ube coffee latte recipe for the blog. And I finally got around to it (sort of) by putting those flavors into a cookie. I love the way the Ube and coffee flavors go together. I also love how the colors look together! Pandan Coconut Rice Krispie Treats. The best easy dessert are Rice Krispie treats so this week I added a little Asian twist to this classic with Pandan and coconut. They taste very Vietnamese with the Pandan and coconut. I love them! Grab the recipe in bio! #pandan #ricekrispies #vietnamesedessert by @cooking__therapy

Matcha Butter Mochi. If you need a super easy dessert, these matcha butter mochi bars are for you. You only need a bowl, a whisk, and a baking pan. 😊 grab the recipe in bio! #matcha #buttermochi by @cooking__therapy

Lychee Sorbet. A super simple and refreshing lychee sorbet on the blog. Made with fresh lychee and a bit of sugar, it’s the best summer dessert. The first time I made this sorbet I couldn’t stop eating it 😊 grab the recipe in bio! by @cooking__therapy

Chao Tom (Vietnamese Shrimp Paste Skewers). This dish is one of those things that is a favorite among the Vietnamese community but outside of that, it’s not as well known. It’s like if you know, you know. I grew having this dish at big parties or at restaurants. It’s made with a shrimp and pork paste wrapped around sugarcane sticks that are then steamed and fried to perfection. However, I found it super hard to find sugarcane. I looked for a few weeks and nothing…so I decided to use lemongrass as a substitute. I think it works just as well! Grab the recipe in bio. #chaotom #appetizer #dinnerparties by @cooking__therapy

Banana Miso Biscoff Cookies. This combination of banana, miso, and Biscoff in a cookie is heavenly. I gave a test batch to a few friends and they absolutely love these. I’ve honestly never had such an enthusiastic reception to a cookie recipe. Grab the recipe on the blog! #banana #biscoff by @cooking__therapy
