#Jamaicanrestaurant by @coolrunningsllc_ct

📍1695 State Street, Hamden, CT 06517

You know a Jamaican spot means business when they’re grilling the jerk chicken outside before you even walk in!🔥

Cool Runnings may be new to Hamden, but they’ve already built a following after starting as a food truck in New Haven.

The portions are generous (my medium oxtail came with NINE pieces 😳), the meats are slow stewed until they’re fall-off-the-bone tender, and don’t sleep on the Rasta pasta or the plantains… they’re easily some of my favorites!

If you’ve been looking for a new Jamaican restaurant to add to your list, this one’s worth the drive!
