The cabin got a little glow-up. ✨🌲

We recently spent a day capturing Cooper Mountain Cabin from a whole new perspective-fresh photography, twilight shots, drone views + video.

Huge thanks to @gerardopolito for spending the day in the trees with us and capturing this place so beautifully. There’s something pretty magical about seeing a place you know so well through someone else’s lens.

We’ve already updated the Direct booking listing and Airbnb listings. But I can’t wait to share more!

New look, same cabin in the woods. 🤩 by @cooper.mountain.cabin

One of the biggest projects we’ve tackled this year is finally complete!! 🎉

When this home was built in 1976, these decks were designed to bring people closer to the forest. After nearly 50 years of morning coffees, family dinners, celebrations, and quiet evenings, it was time to rebuild them for the next generation of memories.

The view never changed-but now guests have an even better place to enjoy it.

Whether you’re sipping coffee while the trees wake up, sharing dinner with family, or ending the day under the stars, these spaces were made to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

We’re so excited to welcome guests onto the new decks this summer.

Our goal has always been simple:
To create a place where guests feel like they’ve escaped to a private forest retreat—even though they’re still close to everything Portland has to offer.
Reviews like this tell us we’re getting it right. 🌲
Thank you, Curtiss, for the kind words and for staying with us at Cooper Mountain Cabin.

After nearly 5 years of unknowingly subjecting our guests to 5:30 AM sunrise wake up calls and the judgy stairs of Local wildlife, we finally installed blackout curtains in the primary bedroom. To every guest who silently suffered - we see you, we love you, and we’re so sorry. 😬 #betterlatethannever😂 #coopermountaincabin #portlandshorttermrental #hostlife by @cooper.mountain.cabin

Sound on!
ripping hard on this view right now not gonna lie 🤙🌸
the rhododendrons popped, the apple trees followed, and a bumblebee showed up like he owns the place
