The traditions of Dia de Los Muertos 💀 & Halloween 👻 merge in El Fuerte, reminding us that we are mortals, living one quick moment that we call life!
We remember our loved ones who have passed, honor their legacy, but don’t forget to life to its fullest! Gracias a @hotelposadadelhidalgo for hosting our evening & to the delicious @mansiondelosorrantia for our beautiful evening! by @coppercanyonadventures

We often have travellers who have been all over the world, still say The Copper Canyon surprised them in so many ways. Here are a few things we've heard:

1. The indigenous people (particularly the Tarahumara) and their lifestyle, traditional outfits, houses, and artwork

2. The emptyiness of much of Mexico, including the all the mountains and deserts

3. How developed Mexico is now, with modern roads, hotels and electricity everywhere

4. High mountains, including the extensive pine forests.

5. Complex Mexican culture that includes food, dance, music, and Dia de los Muertos.

6. So many different climate zones throughout Mexico, as seen in plants and animal life

7. A huge mountain range entirely made out of volcanic ash tuff.

8. Ziplining: how fun and elaborate safety features.
