Check out the official music video for my latest single “Machine of My Design” — click the link in my bio to continue watching on YouTube!

It’s dedicated to the late great Matthew Posey and is a loving tribute to the many handmade worlds he concocted over @ochre_house_theater in Dallas, TX

I made it with two really great friends @jstnlcklr and @daniellegeorgiou

The song is about trying to hold onto our humanity in the weird, wacky world we live in. It features Robert Ellis on mandolin and piano, a longtime musical hero of mine. I hope you dig it!

I’m excited to announce that my album 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘯 will be out December 4th on @toasttoastrecordings!

You can now stream “The Interim” and “Mess Up You,” two of the most direct and vulnerable songs on the record. They’re about growing up in Texas and fatherhood, respectively.

I (somehow) assembled an amazing crew of musicians for the project, and I can’t wait for you to hear their work. These tracks feature:

@corykosel - vocals, guitar
@tunesbyto - electric guitar
@y.a.l.l.b.o.i - pedal steel
@luketodd_smith - synth, saxophone
@jonnybustos11 - bass
@jamesroy - drums

They were recorded at @nilescitysound by @sprots_player (who also gets a xylophone credit), with mastering by @sonofstan.

The single covers were taken circa 1996 and 2003.

I hope you dig ‘em :)
