So when I got to @kilkaredragway I was asked by the Lowhorn’s and the Smiths to capture @amxlowhorn and @kayleelowhorn as this will be the only race they will be at before they have their baby boy and the only race she will have their baby boy with her as she backs up Adam! So it was a one shot chance to get some special footage and be able to put something special together for this amazing family! Congrats Adam and Kaylee and we all pray for a great delivery and congrats to Stephen, Holly, Mike and Tina on y’all’s first grandchild!

I had an 8 year old FB memory come up this morning. These photos from @calebsewell87 of me and Stephanie will always be a couple of my favorites from this @southeast_gassers journey we’ve been on. TODAY we celebrate Stephanie as she graduates from @paulmitchellgreenville cosmetology school. We couldn’t be more proud of her. Not only for her drive to achieve her goals, but much more importantly her faith in Jesus. I’m not sure if I packed it all in my pep talk that day at the track, but she has always been very inquisitive and receptive when she needs to be.😊
I love you Steph!

I wanted to share her post from yesterday, if you didn’t see it…

As many of you know, my original plan after graduation was to begin assisting… but God had other plans.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be staying in Greenville at Kalon Hair | Greenville SC Hair Salon & Head Spa, and my books officially open the week of August 10th! I’ll be behind the chair full time, taking my own clients, and I truly couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter.

To every client who has trusted, supported, and encouraged me along the way, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant everything to me and has helped me grow so much in such a short time.

Wrapping up my #Meltdown10 pics tonight.

It was an honor to meet Paul Lawrence and talk with him and his son Andrew. Much respect for y’all, and I certainly look forward to crossing paths with you again. The event and your hospitality to the Southeast Gassers was second to none. Thank you again!

I loved seeing other friends like my buddy Ed Stokes, who’s a super cool cat, and a loyal supporter of SEGA. He has a killer FED and Ford wagon! I truly appreciate “Fast Eddie’s” friendship.

It’s been way too long since I’ve seen the Border Bandits, and hanging out with them is always a highlight. We reminisced about the first time we met in 2015, after they made the trip to Greer, and we were snowed out!😳 I sold them t-shirts in the driveway at my home bf they headed back to Wisconsin! I missed the Skairlane, but I finally saw the wedding coupe in person😃🙌 And.. Joe’s Chevy sedan is nothing short of perfection.

Greg Porter - You’re the reason I pursued SEGA and met Quain. Well.. actually the NightStalker was that reason!😜 I love that car, and I’ve always had mad respect for you. I’m glad you’re back with us, and I’ve never been so excited to see a Coors light😊🍻

Mike Lowhorn - thank you for letting me enjoy these moments with you and your son. In-laws kinda get bad wraps, and they usually don’t sleep in inclosed trailers together for 3 nights on road trips in the sweltering heat, and still talk to one another. lol!

I met so many wonderful people this past weekend at #Meltdown10 , but one really stood out. Not just because of his recognizable ‘41 Willys, but because Scott Hagerdon is genuinely one of the kindest people you’ll meet. His positive attitude and infectious personality had me smiling throughout our entire conversation.
It was truly a pleasure, Scott!

I’ve never told this story publicly, but I shared it with a few people this past weekend. I also “LOL’d” with Quain through some text about it, so I might as well go public.. lol!

Back in 2015, my Dad and I took Quain’s “Grand Illusion” to several car shows to promote the @southeast_gassers Finals at Greer Dragway. That weekend was plagued with rain, but we tried to make the most of it.

I knew this whole SEGA deal was serious when the late great photographer, Roger Richards from @competitionplus started flashing photos of me as I pulled into McDonald’s after unloading the Willys across the street. At that moment, I thought it was the coolest thing I’d ever done… until it wasn’t. 😳😬

While wrapping plastic around the carburetors and distributor to protect everything from the rain, I bumped a starter button that I didn’t realize was mounted on the firewall. The Willys lunged forward and hit the front of the rollback bed.

I wanted to throw up for about the next 20 hours. Thankfully, Quain appeared to handle the news pretty well, but I felt absolutely terrible about it.

So, before I met Scott.. Adam and I went looking for the “Grand Illusion” at Byron Dragway, because I had to know if the chip was still there.
Sure enough… it was. 😂

I guess everyone hopes to leave their mark on the Southeast Gassers Association, and I just happened to start with a chip.🤓😂 taken in Byron Dragway by @dh.media__

I’ll probably be posting all week about #Meltdown2026 , BUT I’ve got to post this tonight! nuclearmindzdesign Lee Allen and his sweet wife, Angela came to Byron, IL and brought me a very awesome personal gift that Lee made. Lee is the top custom diecast designer in the country, and that’s not just me talking. I had the pleasure of meeting these wonderful people a few years ago at the Charlotte Hot Wheels convention, and it’s always a pleasure to see them! Thanks again for a wonderful surprise.. it was so good to see y’all! taken in Byron Dragway by @dh.media__
