just popping by to say hello!

what an honor it is to have a career that allows me to lean into the best parts of myself. i have always been a very social person + I’ve truly never known a stranger. from a very young age I would make friends very easily, so much so, that it got me in trouble.

my kindergarten teacher wrote on my first report card, “we absolutely love having courtney! she is very chatty, it doesn’t matter who we sit her by, she will make a friend.” i’m so glad what once was a struggle is now quite literally why I’m good at my job haha!

i am wrapping up the busiest season thus far of my career! i have had the opportunity to document 30+ love stories in the last two months. met hundreds of new people, + delivered over 10,000 photos!

i have always been very fond of traveling + have truly had an incurable itch to do so. in the last two months, I’ve traveled to Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming, Washington, + Idaho! truly living the dream at the moment.

here’s to many more beautiful seasons, like this one.

meghan + austin

the week leading up to their session, colorado had been experiencing quite an insane amount of rain. we absolutely lucked out with the sunniest afternoon running around the golden aspens + ended the evening with a sprinkle of rain by the river in rocky mountain national park 🌙

bri + cole

i truly belive this was the most stunning evening I’ve ever spent in moab. we explored washed out backroads + stumbled upon the most gorgeous hidden gems southern Utah has to offer. it was such an honor to meet these two and document their love 🫶🏼

chanin + alec

these two met while alec was on deployment in germany. very quickly, they were inseparable and couldn’t imagine life apart. after years of long distance, they decided to unite their love amongst the beauty of the colorado desert. it was truly such a perfect day + I am so thankful to have been a part of it 🫶🏼

on the gloomiest day in may, we ran around arches national park, scaling boulders + documenting their love. it was such a special day with a nearly empty park!

this may be a hot take…

you should actually participate in your wedding 🤭

when it comes to the day that you’ve not only invested money and time into, you’re also investing in your future memories! it’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of planning and executing your perfect day

my best advice?

DELEGATE everything.

your job is to simply be present and ensure you cease every single second of the day, it’ll be over before you know it 🫶🏼

a morning in san francisco on 35mm film

this morning with nate + aurora was truly the highlight of my spring. not only were they so gracious to host me in their home, we got to explore local food, sites, + capture my favorite couples photos I’ve ever taken. it was such a magical day + one I will forever love!
