Every artist has a story worth telling.

Behind every piece of art is a journey of passion, expression, and discovery.

We had the privilege of capturing Carlos’ journey as an artist, exploring the person behind the work and the experiences that shape his creative world.

A story about art, identity, and the beauty of self-expression.

Art Club is a new monthly creative evening at Lopdell House, held on one Thursday each month with a different focus each session. Led by local artist Angela Amerigo, it's a chance to spend an evening getting creative, meeting new people, and enjoying art, wine, and good company in a relaxed setting.

For our first session, create a series of colourful abstract mini paintings.

No experience required. Materials, wine, and snacks provided.

Places are limited, so bookings are essential. To register, email hello@angelaamerigoart.co.nz.

This video begins after leaving the dough in container for an additional 3hrs, then shaping dough into 2 loaves and placing in proofing baskets overnight, with ingenious ‘hair net’ basket liner technique picked up by the crafty folk at @craftybakernz It’s true, they are crafty. Contemporary artist Jill Perrott, and the first film out of theglitch.

Concept and direction by our creative director @mr.marlonsil —a filmmaker who has always been drawn to art, and to the people making it. This one came from that.

Made alongside co-founder @diasdinesh , who brought the artists together and shaped where it was heading.

More coming.

Crafty Parrs Park is the little sister to Crafty Baker Titirangi, the same love for good coffee and honest food, just with a view. Pull up a chair. There’s no rush here.
